“This place is legit the best soul food in the I've had in the Spring area. I recently had the smothered chicken plate with rice and gravy and 2 sides with greens and yams. I also had their kool aid which was just right and a large slice of homemade pound cake which reminded me of home. Next, visit I'll get pictures lol.“

“I was one of their first customers when they first opened. Im Hispanic (Mexican)so I'm not familiar with soul food or Cajun . The owner was very kind ,friendly to introduce me to his menu he had which I end up ordering some oxtails with greens and Mac say it's delicious fresh out the pot . Since then I got hooked . Good spot“

“Since October we visited this place 3 times and we just stopped at Baba Shawarma and coincidentally all 3 times we got Rain.All three times we just enjoyed Baba Shawarma’s, we enjoyed at the location or inside our car and we got the order Togo too.Our most favorite are Chicken Shawarma and Beef Shawarma wraps and the platter.There are many more options for everyone and second options will be Mexican foods.
Parking: Almost easy to get car parked and enjoy fresh made food at the spot. Specially Baba Shawarma have the ideal sitting to enjoy fresh made food.“

“I recommend that they stop serving old hard fried chicken wings & large thighs w/all that fat on ToGo orders so when U drive all the way home you're stuck with a bad order. I bought 3 orders Fifth Ward Specials $36.60 & 1 Red Bean w/Rice + 1 Macaroni w/Cheese $6.69 which was not good at all. Tasted old & we don't live very close by but my church is near by & does a lot of business with Frenchy's but for me & mine we will not do business with Frenchy's. This was at your East Fwy. Store“
