“This is exactly the type of place that my soul was needing. The meatloaf was spot-on and the red sauce is essentially culinary crack. The mac and cheese is the perfect ratio and the sweet tea is what's going to bring me back for round two! Add to that the people behind the counter are the sweetest, kindness and carrying people you'll ever meet! It's safe to say that my soul is satiated!“

“Delicious food, overall I would say 4.5. The wife and I both tried the Mac and cheese and it was very well seasoned, very cheesy, some of the best we have ever had. I had the gravy smothered pork chop and the flavor was very good, the only downside was that it was just a little bit overcooked but thanks to the gravy it was no problem. Their rice is pretty solid, it has a nice flavor, some people would want more salt on it but mine was perfect since it went with the gravy pork chop. Wife said the Herb Roasted chicken was delicious as well, very good sauce and flavor that mixed with the rice. Mother in law tried the smothered Salisbury steak with rice and potatoes, absolutely loved her meal as well. All in all, we spent 52 bucks and it was worth every dollar including the tip, the front of house staff and the cook were super friendly. I would absolutely recommend this place“

“My family and I visit This Is It very often out in Humble. The Sunday vibes are unmatched. Reminds you of coming home after church to a good ole home cooked Sunday soul food meal. Damn good!!! Ontario is an outstanding server and catered to all our needs. We’ll be back!“

“Since October we visited this place 3 times and we just stopped at Baba Shawarma and coincidentally all 3 times we got Rain.All three times we just enjoyed Baba Shawarma’s, we enjoyed at the location or inside our car and we got the order Togo too.Our most favorite are Chicken Shawarma and Beef Shawarma wraps and the platter.There are many more options for everyone and second options will be Mexican foods.
Parking: Almost easy to get car parked and enjoy fresh made food at the spot. Specially Baba Shawarma have the ideal sitting to enjoy fresh made food.“

“I recommend that they stop serving old hard fried chicken wings & large thighs w/all that fat on ToGo orders so when U drive all the way home you're stuck with a bad order. I bought 3 orders Fifth Ward Specials $36.60 & 1 Red Bean w/Rice + 1 Macaroni w/Cheese $6.69 which was not good at all. Tasted old & we don't live very close by but my church is near by & does a lot of business with Frenchy's but for me & mine we will not do business with Frenchy's. This was at your East Fwy. Store“
