But the smell got us! We had to order and it was even better than expected. Staff was amazing and the overall experience was great! “i, have been here about three times i like there chicken fried steak for some reason the gravy and steak taste like flour had to wipe the gravy off and eat catchup on it still taste like flour.something went wrong i love there chicken fried steak and food i going to come back try again soon if it taste like that again not coming back sorry. see if ya can find the problem tast your food before you serve it. thank you“

“This place is legit the best soul food in the I've had in the Spring area. I recently had the smothered chicken plate with rice and gravy and 2 sides with greens and yams. I also had their kool aid which was just right and a large slice of homemade pound cake which reminded me of home. Next, visit I'll get pictures lol.“

“For me, eating out at a cafe or restaurant is a casual, social affair. Every time I have frequented them, I have been greeted with a nice, gentle ambiance with no loud or destructive TV, music, or unwanted political opinions. As I have no car and ride a bike, I appreciate neither chilly nor sweltering temperatures. Usually, there are couples having lunch, and children aren't boisterous or running around being annoying or destructive.“

For some reason we haven't been coming here very often and I don't know why the prices are amazing the food is amazing the service is amazing everything is awesome the croissants are fantastic the wait is like 5 ish minutes but that's not a big deal. if you're there before lunch time ends and the wait extends over that they give you the prices anyways. super kind waitress, made the experience very chill. they have Shirley temples as well! <3 will definitely be coming back!“

“This is the best Hartz in Houston IMO .... I've lived around and visited several locations throughout my 39 years of being alive and this is THE ONE. They season chicken like it was made at home. The food is always fresh and they consistently are fresh and hot. I've been on this side of town for a year and have visited several times throughout this past year and i have no complaints. They are better than Popeyes, church's, and the other Hartz located in the other side of 45 headed to humble. Whoever is managing is doing an awesome job. Please continue to consistently serve us fresh, hot, seasoned to perfection chicken and let's not leave the mouth watering tenders out of the conversation. So good.“
