The chicken salad was a huge hit for the event. It was refreshing and delicious! Love going in here. They make me feel like they know me personally.“

“i, have been here about three times i like there chicken fried steak for some reason the gravy and steak taste like flour had to wipe the gravy off and eat catchup on it still taste like flour.something went wrong i love there chicken fried steak and food i going to come back try again soon if it taste like that again not coming back sorry. see if ya can find the problem tast your food before you serve it. thank you“

“This was my first time ordering and I don't regret it! I ordered Thursday's special which was meatloaf served with rice and gravy, my sides were black eye peas and green beans. Everything was so delicious. I appreciated the extra container of gravy that I used on my meatloaf. The meatloaf was tender and nicely seasoned. My only complaint is that the cornbread was dry - tasted good but dry. That won't stop me from coming back. I wanna try the oxtails and Mac & cheese next!“

“This is the best Hartz in Houston IMO .... I've lived around and visited several locations throughout my 39 years of being alive and this is THE ONE. They season chicken like it was made at home. The food is always fresh and they consistently are fresh and hot. I've been on this side of town for a year and have visited several times throughout this past year and i have no complaints. They are better than Popeyes, church's, and the other Hartz located in the other side of 45 headed to humble. Whoever is managing is doing an awesome job. Please continue to consistently serve us fresh, hot, seasoned to perfection chicken and let's not leave the mouth watering tenders out of the conversation. So good.“

“Good buffet and the owner is great and the people that work there chicken has to much batter it's thick. Chicken tenders are small and color of the batter is not the same as the regular fried chicken its clumpy That's just me and my son some people like it. The one on 2920 is good for us thinner batter crust and the chicken tenders are just off the chain big and the batter is the same color as all the other chicken. Smooth crispy chicken!!!“

“We, there were 4 of us, who traveled 6 hours to get here for a week-long class.
We were tired and we were hungry.
Trust me, I get that it is frustrating to watch customers walk in 30 minutes before you close however, we deserve to be treated the same regardless of time.
We were ignored upon entry on purpose to see if we would just leave but we were too hungry to be ignored...
Then we were ignored by our waiter, then to top of our night, not 1 but 2 bowls of potato soup were lukewarm and served with no crackers“

Every time I have frequented them, I have been greeted with a nice, gentle ambiance with no loud or destructive TV, music, or unwanted political opinions. As I have no car and ride a bike, I appreciate neither chilly nor sweltering temperatures. Usually, there are couples having lunch, and children aren't boisterous or running around being annoying or destructive.“
