“I am not typically a fan of Tex Mex cuisine, but my husband enjoys it, so I decided to give it another try. My husband suggested we visit Mi Cocina, as it is conveniently located near our residence and had received a 5-star rating online. We arrived around noon today. Our server, Jairo, was helpful in recommending a dish, which proved to be delicious, featuring a combination of various appetizers. The food was warm and served promptly. Jairo also suggested drinks, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The staff consistently displayed friendly smiles, creating a wonderful atmosphere. Jairo and the staff deserve a 5-star rating from us.“

“This place is family run with heart. I’ve had many items off the menu and have never been disappointed. In fact each new dish has been better than the last. The menudo on the weekends, the Lengua, the pastor I’m getting hungry just thinking about it. Bah who am I kidding I’m calling here in a few minutes when they open for a breakfast plate! Cya there!“

“Every time I order online, my food is hot and ready by the time I get there to pick up. My order has always been perfect and the staff (Torrie specifically) are really great and always greet you with a smile. Highly recommended the street tacos with asada!“

“A great place in the neighbourhood for Mexican cuisine. The ambience and restaurant is pretty rustic and not very high-fi however the food is simply delicious. I would any days go in for a nice tasty meal over a fancy place. The Guacamole was out of the world and they do bu the table. The enchiladas were good as well.“

“Tables are usually pretty clean and the food is great! I love their pickled jalapeños and carrots.
I just can’t believe they’re charging a whole $1.25 extra for anything with egg in it! Eggs are back to their regular price and the cashier still tried to up charge us for eggs.. We didn’t even order extra!! Plus you typically have to wait for them to come check you out or wait for her to get off her phone to ring up your order. Not sure I’ll be coming back or not..“

“Best Mexican food in North Dallas. I’ve been going to the Plano location for 20 years. I’m glad they opened one in Allen. I love the margaritas!! They actually put tequila in them and just not mix. The white queso and fajitas are my favorite. They also have a great taco salad.“

“We haven't been in a while. The owner greated us, very clean, music, authentic ambiance. Booth was big. Free chips, hot sauce and heated pured brown been dip. The food was delicious, large portions, really good lunch menu pricing. Clean bathrooms. The waitress was very attentive. The Owner came by our table to ask us how our food was. Did I say the food was delicious! For real, highly recommended Tex-Mex.“
