“The employees went above and beyond to serve my children whom one of which was very hurt they ran out of what he eats everytime. I told him we are at a "buffet" choose something else. He opted not to eat. I made clear If he couldn't find food at this place full of food I wasn't going to cook when we got home. He still insisted he wouldn't eat. When the crew heard this they told me we will have that ready in 10 min...while I'm embarrassed my child would act like that when we people homeless and starving in every state, I applaud the staff for being concrete about my child enough to do something they didn't have to do. Thank you all.“

“I've been to all of the locations of fadis in the Houston area and this one is my favorite. Some locations don't allow you to get half sides but this one does! It allows for more variety of choices and same portion sizes. Their pita bread is unlike any other. I love how fresh & warm the food is and the portions are HUGE. Price is fair when taking into consideration how much you get. Parking is easy and it's in a shopping center.“

“I didn't take a picture... my phone died. Walking in there is a security guard, so I'm not sure what goes on as I'm not that familiar with that side of town. The food looked pretty good, it's layed out buffet style. You can dine in or takeout. It was two of us so we tried fried catfish it was edible, but not hot enough. That's what happens because it's not cooked to order. Won't do that again. The fried chicken was okay. The cabbage was good. The broccoli casserole was really good, so was the sweet potatoes. The rice n gravy was decent. Chitterlings are not good at all. And highly priced. If you lazy and don't wanna cook or can't, then go here. Other than that I would stay home and cook.No shade intended. Do get a piece of cake and a daiquiri those where on point.Parking: It's a lot of businesses so parking is not the best, and the parking lot looks sketchy.“

“Delicious homestyle Americana type food. Comfort food. I got the turkey and dressing entree with gravy, fried okra, and Mac and cheese with the icebox chocolate pie. It was slap ya mama good. Everything was seasoned nicely. The turkey was the best I've had since Thanksgiving, with a little cup of cranberry sauce on the side. This will become a regular spot for me. I hesitate to say it's pricey because I had two dinners with what I bought. Such large entree servings, definitely worth it for the quality. The service was great as someone came by regularly with a cart containing everything one might need. They give refills readily and take care and attention. A clean and beautiful interior with a really cool and well-lit entry with a timeline of the history of the place. I will definitely be back for the pineapple cake and more! The cake slices are the size of a personal mini cake or bigger. And jello that brings me back to my childhood!“

“Unpretentious hole in the wall with amazing Caribbean Creole cooking. Reasonable prices since it is not in a high rent area.We came here because we love the name. The restaurant is named after a popular song by that eternal icon of Cuban music, Celia Cruz. (Don’t tell the estate lawyers cause they’ll shut it down). When here in a Friday night 2 hours before they closed. The menu was limited because they were running out of items for the day. This is a great sign because everything had been made fresh that day.I had the grilled chicken breast with onions while my wife had the shrimp in red sauce. Both were really great. Plenty of fried ripe plantains.“
“This is a very good, authentic restaurant! The flavors are those of El Salvador, the tortillas are hand made and made well. The service is good, just like their pupusas!! I got the desayuno con 2 huevos al gusto and it came with frijoles, tortillas, plantains, cream and tortillas.“
