Zim's Farmers Market & Cafe

Like most people we heard a lot about Mary’s so we decided to try it out when family was visiting. The chicken fried steaks are extremely large and we liked them. They are not your typical breaded, deep fried, chicken fried steaks. They are lightly floured, soaked in butter and fried on a flat top. ?. Had heard about Mary's for years so we decided to try it on a Sunday afternoon. The service was great. the waitress said the medium steak would be about 4” x 6”. That turned out to be for one steak and there were two. We had the French fries, and they were great, fresh cut not frozen, crisp, and tasty. Absolutely the best southern home cooking. And the Mexican food is great as well. Fun relaxed atmosphere with great service. Great group of people. Have been many times and never disappoints!
