“Great vurger, this I can attest to. If on 287, it is worth the stop. Place may not be appealing to the eye if you are an out- of-towner but you will be very surprised. Very friendly staff and a place to stop with the kids, the kids will actually thank you once they get inside.”

“Breakfast with family in from out of town.I wasn't up to making breakfast for everyone and this cute little lakeside store/Cafe is just likevisiting Grandma's on Saturday morning. We ordered fried eggs, toast, bacon and hash browns. All cooked to perfection and my hubby got pancakes which were light and fluffy and too much for him to finish. There's plenty of room to sit at available tables in the Cafe. The service is great and the staff is super sweet. The tea and coffee is freshly made.Highly recommend for dine in or take out.Their breakfast biscuits are delicious.”
“Wow where do we begin?! Lydia was our host and she was AMAZING! She did not just want us to have our wine tasting and kicked us out! Customer relation is soooo big to us and she hit that nail on the head! And the wine was great as well! Our overall experience was a 10/10. If you are on the fence of if the visit or not, you most certainly should!”

“Wondered about this place for a few years and decided to find it. Food was very good and the presentation was better than average. Great view of the water. Staff was very friendly and provided excellent service even though the restaurant was busy. Only reason atmosphere was not a five is because it was very loud.”

“If you're looking for a great, clean place to eat and have a drink off the beaten path, the Old Gin is a good place to stop. It's in a renovated old cotton gin, so it has plenty of rural/small-town atmosphere, but it's clean and well lit.The main dining room has a bar with about 10 beers on tap, in addition to other drinks. There's a covered patio. When we arrived the live music entertainment for the night was setting up. Plus, there's a playground for the kids to play own while they wait for the food.My wife had a burger and my daughter had the turkey sandwich. I had a monte-cristo like sandwich: bacon, jalapenos, swiss, and raspberry jam. For an appetizer we had fried pickles and cheese sticks. All were very fresh tasting. They even fry their own chips which were excellent! The service was very helpful and checked on us regularly. I recommend this place.”

“As always the food is fantastic. Every item on the menu is above average. Top notch. Get there early because the lunch rush Significantly extends the wait time for food.”
