They only take cash, Zelle, or Cash App—not a problem these days. I had the Chicken Murphy—flavorful sauce, perfectly cooked mushrooms, just the right kick—absolute chef’s kiss! My husband had spaghetti with marinara and Italian sausage, with generous portions and a homemade-tasting sauce. Small, clean seating area and friendly staff all the way till we finished eating.Can’t wait to come back for the pizza!“

“We tried this place last night for the first time and were blown away! 🤩 This was using DoorDash to deliver so the food took at least 30 minutes to get to us. The pizza managed to stay crispy and absolutely delicious.

The whole family said it was the best pizza they had ever had so today for a late lunch we made the trek over to try it in person. Y’all…10 times better! The crust is soft yet crispy and the sauce so tasty. We tried the pizza with the works, a cheese pizza, and pepperoni. All of them sooo good. The calamari was next level and the house Italian dressing really flavorful. 😋 We are looking forward to coming back to try the pasta. 🍝

“04/22/2025: Joe’s has been around for years and is a pretty decent Italian American food in the Mesquite/Sunnyvale area. The place does need a thorough interior refresh. It is really dated, dark and showing lots of wear and tear. My family and I only get food to go. Service is okay as well.“

“I have always been a fan of Bankhead, but have not been in a while. My children and I went yesterday for Mother’s Day and our ticket was accidentally lost. The staff went above and beyond to make it up to us with some delicious appetizers while they finished up our orders. Mistakes happen, but we definitely will be visiting again soon.“

“First time here and wanted to try it out. The pizza taste great and reminds me a little of pizza back home with the great tasting handmade crust. I like how the Italian sausage is crumbled and not big pieces. The wings were good too. I believe the older short guy with glasses who took my order and made it was the owner. He even greeted me and my fiance when we came in. Not too many ppl greet you nowadays nor do they speak on your way out. This is a family owned place but it could use some cleaning and slight remodeling. I felt bad because I feel like he may not have anyone to help in that area. I did not like that the price for the pizza on the menu didn't quite match what was on the board. $15 for a Large 3 topping that looks more like a medium. I also did not like how Abraham's customer service was when I tried to call back 20 minutes after we got home and ate to speak to the owner and tell him how much we enjoyed the pizza and wings. He was rude, rushy, unprofessional. He did not care about nothing I said, he was just rushing me to place an order when that was not what I called for. He said the owner left but I don't think the owner left because we literally was just there. I really hope that the guy wasn't really the owner the whole time. This place has potential though.“

“This is our favorite pizza place in the area! It’s always hot and delicious. The few times there have been errors, the manager remedied them right away. He is a pretty cool guy too. “I am vegetarian, I ordered a veggie pizza easy on the olives and alfredo. I went to pick up my pizza and something in cyber space was not letting my authorization come through. The guy asked me if I wanted my card ran again I said no b/c I don't have Bank on my phone and I could not check. So I had to go home check my account take a picture and go back. When I got my pizza and went home I was so tired I only wanted to eat one piece. It taste so wonderful that I ate more. I told my husband it was Well worth the second trip. It was not their fault cyber space gets crazy. And they did ask for my permission before they ran it a second time. Which they did not. Kudos for this service, and the wonderful Pizza. We’ve never had any issues ordering online for pickup or even for delivery, and the pizza itself is just delicious! “I ordered pizzas to be delivered at a certain time on a hectic, rainy Friday night. I put in the instructions that we had crazy dogs so please just leave the pizzas on the porch and we would grab them. Not only did they deliver our pizzas at exactly the right time, but they left dog treats with our pizzas. So fun and thoughtful!
