Truly Mexican food, authentic in flavor and presentation. And the lady at the counter (maybe owner?) was so dang sweet. “Drove by this morning and decided to purchase some tacos. I ordered a steak/potato burrito and my daughter ordered the three taco platter. The customer service was 💯, the food the same. “Remember it's a food truck, so the atmosphere is in pleasant grove, so a lil hood. The service was good just don't like the fact when you pay for a drink, they give the cup when you get your food, obviously because people take advantage of agua frescas since you serv yourself, no refills. The food was good. I got tacos campechanos with is fajita and chorizo, nice and tender and good mix flavor together and not skimpy. Tacos de trompo, we got the special 15 tacos for 20 dollars, the flavor was really good and seasoned, maybe a little to much achieved because my fingers looked like a I ate hot cheetos, meaning red fingers, but I liked them. Would I be coming back definitely yes. 8 out of 10. They also give potatoes with your tacos fixings. They also good and soft. Monterey style.“

“I love coming here on the weekends, they have pozole every weekend and it's really the best. It's consistently amazing and a very large portion. The staff is very friendly and inviting as well. “I want to give a shout out to this location. The service has changed from the last time I came here. They cater to you now. They bring the food to the table. The general manager and the cashier taking the order Maria and Jaqueline were so nice and sweet. They come to the table several times to ask how everything was going good. And if I needed anything to let them know.

“Great beer and fantastic fries. Fries were super crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside.

The beer menu is very good and has a nice variety for everyone.

Everyone really enjoyed the queso fondito!

The taco entrees were good but a bit pricey.

The quail taco was good and unique. I get that quail can be expensive for the amount of food you get.

I personally wasn’t a fan of the short rib/brussel sprout taco.

My wife’s taco bowl left something to be desired as far as portion and flavor. It was not bad, just not a $15+ plate of food.

“I stumbled upon this taco spot years ago by accident, and it’s been a favorite ever since. Anytime I’m on this side of Dallas, I make sure to stop by and the food never disappoints. The flavors are just as amazing now as the first time I tried it. Parking can be a bit of a hassle, but honestly, it’s a small inconvenience for tacos this good. Definitely worth it!“

“Don't be fooled by Taqueria Charly's unassuming gas station storefront, because they serve some of the best traditional mexican style street food in DFW. They have all the classic offerings, and they are all delicious. Very tasty salsa verde and salsa rojas as well!“

“Amazing tacos! I got the spicy pork and the chicken, both were well seasoned, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I'd happily come here regularly if I wasn't just in town for the holidays.

Additionally, one of the best churros I've ever had outside of Mexico - It was big, soft and pillowy, and SO tasty. There's also like a dulce de leche sauce inside that's just perfect.

Service was fast and friendly and the prices are very reasonable.

Fair warning that it's in a gas station, so it's probably not the spot to take the family out for a sit down meal (although they do have a few tables). Having said that, I can't recommend enough!“

“I ordered the food on DoorDash before. Today I decided to pull up an order my favorite beef torta and fries to my surprise it was inside of a gas station. Now eating there already I knew the food was good but now I wanted to see what I was dealing with. Again I was shocked the store was clean. The walls had new Price signs on them and the floor was mopped and smelled clean. As they should , the kitchen was clean and the store was well kept you have to pay at the front counter in order to receive your food and you hand the receipt to a young lady behind the counter and they prepare greatness It is a must try

“We have gotten food here many times and we finally tried dining in. We were greeted right away. We ordered the Burrito Barbacoa and Burrito Carne Asada. Both were made perfectly. They have a green and red salsa. The green is mild and the red is spicy. Both taste great. The people behind the counter are very friendly and helpful. This place is open only from 7am to 6pm M-F and 7am to 4pm on Saturday and 7am to 3pm on Sunday. They are located inside a gas station. They do not have any drinks other than Horchata and Cantaloupe drinks. If you want a soda or bottle water you will need to go to the gas station side and buy the drink. Very good food and great people we will continue to frequent this place.“

“The Birria Tacos were perfect. Most places think birria= too much cheese greasy mess. These tacos were perfectly filled with tender beef and cheese, grilled perfectly in a consume dipped tortilla. Managed to dip my taco three times and it never fell apart, thats right I double dip and I’m not sorry. Onions , cilantro, salsa, were all fresh. Even the lime slices were big and fresh, i didn’t need a vice to get juice out of them. Will definitely be visiting again to try the rest of the menu!“
