“This was our first visit to Torchy’s and it was the BEST!!! The young man at the register last night (can’t remember his name was so helpful and friendly). He was so patient with me and my husband as we navigated the huge menu of foods not knowing what we wanted, so he so graciously offered us some good food choices.We dined in and the atmosphere was so cool and welcoming. I struck up a conversation with this sweet lady Miss Maria who was so kind and I told her this was my first visit to Torchy’s so she told me to give her a minute she would be right back.She went and got the manager and he came out and spoke with me and my husband about how our visit was going, the history of Torchy’s, and just chatted a bit about the food. I can’t remember the managers name, I think it was Danny (not sure) because we were talking about so many things. He was a very courteous, down to earth, and professional guy.We were then served our Grande Burritos and let me tell you… they were amazing!!I had the barbacoa burrito , my husband had the brisket burrito, and my grandson had the steak burrito. Also, the sweet tea was soooo good! They were all delicious!! I also noticed the bar there, which when we return I will have one of those margaritas. We had a Damn Good meal!!!“

“It's in the Valero. It does not look good but the food is excellent. The staff is nice and helpful. Be clear with your order. They expect every taco to have eggs, cheese, and meat. I ordered a bean and cheese tacos and the wanted to add eggs. No problem, just be clear. You can get any taco on corn or flour. The fajita taco can have cilantro and chopped onion or even grilled onion and pepper. The pork carnitas and fajitas are both good. Cooked well and chopped small. The menu is posted but I just ordered what I wanted. There are two sizes of tortillas, I only ever ordered the small. Two small tacos were enough.The surroundings look questionable but the food and staff are excellent. If you are staying in the RV park across the way, come here for breakfast.“

“Delicious tex mex quesadilla! I went 2 days straight for it! Also tried the 3 taco plate, it was ok..it comes with beans and rice. The rice was warm, the chicken/Pollo could use a bit more seasoning but it wasn't bad. You get good portions for a decent price. I fell in love with the Tex Mex Quesadilla and will be going back! When you walk in the front doors, Lujanos is the second food vendor on the right. The staff was super nice, and their areas were clean and tidy. There is outside seating at 2 tables as long as you don't mind melting in the Texas heat?. “This is a gem on the east side of Dallas off the 635 in Saint Augustine. Everything is handmade from the tortillas beans eggs meat is fabulous. Nothing like handmade flour tortillas in the morning or evening to make the day go better unlike many other smaller restaurants, this place is bilingual, and have very friendly people, don't be intimidated by the exterior of this place is great. The food is excellent portions with good pricing and explodes with flavored. Y'all got to try the red chili it has heat but a lot of flavor. Definitely a place to come back to.“

There wasn't much flavor on the chicken. It was just beans, chicken, cheese & avocado. I'm use to my torta having all the fixings like lettuce, onions, crema & real Mexican cheese. I asked for rice instead of fries. The rice over cooked and didn't have much seasoning. I also tried the flautas. Now those were a hit!! Served in fresh corn tortillas, there was plenty of meat sliced off the rotisserie and not overly greasy.
