“We stumbled across this place and I'm soo glad we did. This couple was extremely friendly and inviting. They are in the process of expanding, so don't let the initial appearance detour you. We got the oxtail plate, and it was enough for two. I must say this was one of my favorite oxtail plates I've purchased!
Everything was delicious, and I'm looking forward to trying other menu items. In my opinion tgisbisba hidden gem that's about tonshine in the near future!”

“if you are craving for seafood in this area this is the best place for it food it's deliciously Fresh I got the shrimp tacos (I ask for 1 shrimp and 1 fish fried option you can get them grilled too) if you don't have enough time to eat I recomend you to call in advance cause it gets crowded at lunch Time but I notice people were getting in and out picking up they orders no problem . I was impressed with the historical setting as well with the causal family type vibe of the restaurant. The lunch menu was great, offering an excellent variety of tasty options and all well priced. We had a quick stop for lunch prior to our visit to nearby Surfside Beach. What a great find. Clean restaurant and restrooms too. Plenty of free parking. Nice area in Lake Jackson.”
