Best place to get food, plus service is always great
I like Lucy's and have gone there several times. This visit was the least pleasant of my visits to date. The kitchen was slower than usual and I think that the waitress was a little overrun, even though it was not during a rush.Still, the waitress was very pleasant and accommodating, and did the best that she could.Something was a little off in the kitchen on this visit, as the food was not as significant in portion, and not as hot. Lucy's Kitchen #2 serves homemade-tasting grub at a fair price. The service is fast and friendly, with smiling servers who check on beverage refills and ensure a pleasant dining experience. The restaurant is easy to find, just west of Taylor on the north side of the 79. While occasional visits may be slower, the staff, including manager Maria, strive to provide an excellent experience. Breakfast is plentiful and a great value, making Lucy's Kitchen #2 a worthwhile return visit.
