Grub that tastes like homemade & at a fair price, fast service w/a smiling server who checks on bev refills & whether we're pleased with the dining experience, & a friendly but non-intrusive young 'busser'.Easy to find, just West of Taylor, northside of the 79.Today's team: Maria (manager), Isabella (server), Jr (clears tables)
First time here the food was above-average the service was outstanding will definitely be coming back. My waitress Maria was amazing so yes a 5-star rating.Update: had breakfast there this time, of course Maria is a bright constant there, the breakfast is plentiful and at a great value.

I like Lucy's and have gone there several times. This visit was the least pleasant of my visits to date. The kitchen was slower than usual and I think that the waitress was a little overrun, even though it was not during a rush.Still, the waitress was very pleasant and accommodating, and did the best that she could.Something was a little off in the kitchen on this visit, as the food was not as significant in portion, and not as hot.
