Absolutely amazing chicken fried steak and Chile rellano. Super attentive service. Beans are house-made and delicious, tortillas fresh and warm, perfect combination of southern comfort and tex-mex. Absolutely amazing desserts. Don't let the outside of the building scare you off, it may look old but it is perfectly clean and has lovely food and people.
First time stopping after passing this cafe for years. I would always see parking lot full of cars. Well, don't pass it by, it is delicious. You can taste the fresh in every bite! Definitely "AUTHENTIC "

The meatloaf with red sauce on Monday nights is awesome. Chicken tenders are hand battered. Chicken fried steak is pretty awesome. The mashed potatoes, black eyed peas, carrots, fried okra and cole slaw are all very good as well. We drive 15 to 20 miles to eat at this place. Probably more often than we should...
