“I've been coming to here for at least 2 years now. I loved the extensive menu for the different types of Japanese food available but I'm sorry to see that Carlos Pinto (Carlos Jr) may no longer be offering his special tendon tempura since the menu has changed and there is no more sashimi/salmon/tuna bowls. I recently tried his Tendon Tempura in Pasadena, CA and I was looking forward to having more here in DFW because I remembered his logo and saw him in the kitchen before. I hope he will eventually open his own here :)“

“Such a great place for the budget minded as the rice bowls here offer affordability to the college nearby. This place is clean and ordering is done at a kiosk and picked up at the register. You have a variety of different proteins to choose from including beef, pork, and salmon! The bowls are generous , enough to definitely have a shareable plate. “I recently visited Pho Que Huong and had a generally great experience. The service was friendly and welcoming, which made for a pleasant start to the meal. I ordered the mixed fried rice, and it was really tasty — flavorful and well-cooked. The meatballs and other dishes my friends ordered were also really good, with everyone enjoying their meals.

That said, I did feel like something was missing from the overall experience — maybe just a bit more depth in the flavors or an extra touch that could have tied everything together. Despite that, I think this is a place worth trying again. I’ll definitely be back to give it another shot!“
