“Probably the best sushi option in The Woodlands, although Sapporo Izakaya has recently improved significantly. Food is excellent but service has not found solid footing and diminishes the experience. The original Kokoro in town is far better. Weak link in the Duckstache chain, but still good given the low bar set in The Woodlands.“

“Went to Sapporo Izakaya and it was honestly such a good experience. The place has a really nice vibe love the hanging lights from the ceiling and the food was so good. I got the blue lobster roll and the seven spicy calamari and both were amazing super fresh, flavorful. Our server Adir was the best. He was super nice, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. The service felt really genuine and made me and my friends feel comfortable the entire time. Definitely recommend if you want good food and a chill atmosphere. I’d 100% go back“
