“I was in town for a VB tourney & found this place. I ordered 2 lunch plates, they were $9 each. Service was fast and foodwas good. The rice and ground beef could use more seasoning and the texture of our taco shells were a little stale, not crunchy.I would give this place a try again if we visit again.”
“I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while as I live close by and they did not disappoint! The food is incredible! Definitely recommend to anyone and can’t wait to come back and bring more ”
“Went on SAT. Live music and a great selection of beer. They had a handful of wine options for those who prefer it. They only had one bartender serving both the outside window and inside so there were good long lines waiting at both for beverages. I have a feeling it wasn't the norm and the bartender was moving as fast as possible with a smile on his face. Will try them again.”
“Correa Chinese Cuisine is absolutely delicious. The staff are friendly and attentive and every entree is tasty and cooked to perfection! Highly recommend this place for people dining in Taylor, Tx.”
“This place is amazing; food, drinks, owners and staff. New favorite spot in Taylor. ? You can tell there is a ton of thought and passion behind all the lil details.Went in for the first time last Friday, we met the owners and staff. They were awesome genuine people. Got the sense this is their “love what you do and you’ll never work a day in your life” kind of set up.The food was well crafted. We got the OG, smoked chicken pozole, and the green chili pork. All three were perfection. I hear they have a killer burger on Fridays, you have to get there early to get one. ‘Doesn’t matter how many they throw on the grill, they sell out.’Drinks! I got the martini… one of the best I’ve ever had. That means a lot.The place felt spacious but warm and welcoming. Music was great!***Ended up counting down the days until they were open again and went back for more. ?Vegetarian options: It’s a small menu, so not a ton of options. But 2 of the 6 items are vegetarian. Salad w/ tofu, brussels, and then there are some options for sides. Kimchi, cucumber salad, vin coleslaw, etc.”
“Had a sausage wrap and some brisket, it was so delicious! Spicy barbecue sauce was yummy and not too spicy as what I thought it would be. Hands down, 10 out of 10. Friendly service as well, thank yall ☺️”
“Ordered 3 different pupusas to go - bean and cheese, squash and cheese and beef. They were all fantastic and the red sauce and pickled cabbage that came with them were to die for! Will definitely be going back for more!”
“This place has pretty good coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Wish they had more pastry options and that parking was a little easier. It is better for working or when strolling through downtown, not as quick to get in and out for on the go coffee and breakfast.”
“Great value for your money. It's all home made. They're a little light on the seasoning but still five stars. They're very friendly and accommodating. Plus it's 3-4 minutes from the Taylor Samsung facility. Can't beat it for what I've found in Taylor so far. It's not a bunch of classically trained French chef's. This is Grandma's house. ?? ”
“Delicious breakfast tacos! Their freshly made flour tortilla is so good that it makes any meal extra. The staff is very friendly and attentive, too. Highly recommend restaurant.”
“It's a real chill spot to drink beer and play pool if the table is open. Their whole menu is good, but the hidden gem is their unbelievably good cheese sticks.”
“We stopped in just as the shop was closing and the owner was so very nice to make us some of the best shaved ice we have ever had! The texture of the shaved ice was amazing, the ice cream in the middle tasted like high quality homemade and the topping flavor combination was the best ever! We’ll definitely be back!”
“Came on a Saturday, got in line outside the door at 11:45am. Beef rib and chicken were sold out by the time we got to the counter. Fatty brisket was very delicious, so was the spicy sausage. Side are on point too, pinto beans and green beans are my favorite. When you walk in you know this place is legit: smoke stained black walls and ceiling, meat sold by the pound. This has been my family's favorite BBQ for three generations.”
“We arrived for dinner at 6:45 and were pleased that the place looked busy but not such as we’d have to wait for a table. The atmosphere and decor is absolutely divine!! The staff were all welcoming and friendly. We started with chips (homemade) and queso. Tasty! I had Mom’s Meatloaf with loaded mashed potatoes (because they were out of baked potatoes) with deviled eggs as a side. I recommend you order the tomato sauce topping for the meatloaf on the side. It was too sweet for my taste but I saw others enjoying it on their meatloaf. My husband got the chicken fried steak with the cowboy caviar which he said was delicious. We ended by sharing a slice of the lemon blueberry pie and, OMG(!!), don’t leave Plowman’s without having dessert!I will be sure to add Plowman’s Kitchen to our rotation of favorite sit down restaurants.”
“Great tasting BBQ and country sides. Moist brisket, pork ribs (short and long) and sometimes mutton. (Wow) I enjoy my BBQ sauce on the side for dipping my bread instead of on my meat's.Desert's available cakes and cobbler's. Also a few grocery items. Meat's from the freezer and can good's. Friendly folk. But there early, or call, because they do run out of stuff.Continued success to you now and in the future.Parking: Easy access in and out leading to Main Street.”
“This was my first experience with a birria taco. One bite of this crispy and utterly delicious taco took my taste buds straight to the spirit world. Damn these things are good...”
“The best fish and chips! The fish is dense, moist and the batter is delicious.Kid-friendliness: Large open field for kids to run and play. We like to bring a ball so they can play.”
“Best taco...u gotta get tha Supper Breakfast taco..it's ah "BEAST" !!! Ol school..excellent tacos! and ol school prices and very good quality food! U gotta check'em out!!! i got turned on..now im sharing wit yall!! Have a blessed day!!!”
“Most delicious greasiest pizza roll of my life. They put so much cheese that you better have a napkin because she’s gonna drip!Don’t even get me started about the red sauce. Yum.”
“First time here and to be honest, the food was really good. It's a small place but they have plenty of variety in their menu and everything was sooo good. I definitely recommend "El Tortazo". I definitely recommend this place for Mexican food ?”
“The Bulldog Special breakfast burrito was amazing. The buttery eggs were cooked to perfection, and every bite was bursting with flavor. It had the perfect combination of ingredients, leaving me satisfied and craving more. Overall, a truly amazing culinary experience that I would highly recommend to anyone craving a delicious breakfast treat. You can’t beat the price as well.”
“If you want a juicy hamburger thus is the place. The customer service is friendly. I had a twisted tea with my double cheeseburger and a bag of chips. Very good!!”
“Don't let the big sign out front that says Luigi's Italian fool you. It's Monarchas! I been in Taylor for two years and have tried everything here besides the fried chicken drive throughs and the Stockade place...and this is hands down the best place to eat in town. Great Tex Mex, the burger is solid but you can skip the queso...it's too much like Nacho Cheese. Get the Queso Flamado instead. Great service and super quick! Yum!!”
“One should not visit Taylor without stopping at TBC. It was sad to see them shut down their tap room in downtown Taylor, considering they were pivotal in it's revitalization. But they've opened up at their brewery down the road. It's such a great place with an awesome backyard vibe. They often welcome local food vendors and continue to be an important part of making Taylor great. I'm always proud when I see their beer in other parts of the state. Make sure to tour their facitlity and pull up a stool to have a few beers while you're there. Grab yourself a six-pack when you see them at your local grocery and support small business and small craft beering!”
“Always good, reasonably priced food, and friendly service.Parking: The parking lot is an open dirt lot next to the restaurantKid-friendliness: We took our grandkids, and they enjoyed stuff from the kids menu.”
“Elegant, cozy and dedecant. I had the goat cheese and soft preztles and washed it down with hisbsicus rose tea. Later I had a cocktail that tasted like something out of a fairytale. The music was relaxing and the overall vibe made it hard to leave. The furniture was comfortable too. The owners are interesting and intelligent people. I learned new things while speaking to them. Overall, this is place was amazing. There was something to relax the heart, mind and soul here.Honestly, this is the first place to look for me if you cant find me.Vegetarian options: Nearly every thing was vegatarian or could be made vegatarianKid-friendliness: Super kid friendly. The owners are parents. Kids are welcome until later in the evening.”
“My husband always calls ahead with a tamale order, she always has them ready for us, and they are delicious! My favorite is the cream cheese jalapeno. It's always lovely doing business with ”
“I’ve been all over the state of Texas for work. Not from this town at all. Can honestly say, one of the best cheese burgers I’ve ever had! Flavor was Exceptional. Nice mom and pop shop. If you’re in the mood for a great cheese burger and are in the area, HIGHLY recommended.”
“I came here with my husband for lunch on a weekday. It was packed. There weren't any tables so we stood in line for one to be available. As soon as a table was available, the older couple behind us pushed past us to grab that table because they have "4 people in their party". It really doesn't matter how many people you have. That's just rude. That was an unpleasant experience. People do watch out for older people who takes advantage like that and get away with it.I had the fried chicken plate. It comes with 3 pieces of chicken and 2 sides. Great texture, a little greasy and a little under seasoned. But you can't beat the price for the portion.Don't let the outside and lack of ambience deter you. You have to come try it at least once.”
“It was awesome a little out of the way looking Diner very cute inside very homey smelled like apple pie the food was delicious the service was great highly recommend this ”
