“I wish I could get there more often. It’s a long drive home .“
“The Sea Devil can only be accessed via the Texas Ren Fest. For 8 weekends a year in October and November it becomes THE PLACE to hang out inside Fair, have a beer or bottle of mead, listen to awesome pirate themed LIVE music, and take in the best garb and costumes in Fair. And their stage is a pirate ship - right in the middle of the bar!
Stay for the last call pub sing along after dark and enjoy the fireworks at the arena right across the way afterwards.“

“Excellent staff! Food is awesome ! The owner really puts all his effort into making the place "that place to be" on a Thursday night Great environment the atmosphere is so welcoming it is that hole in the wall bar in the middle of no where every body's talking about. Weekends are usually busy but ya never have to wait for a drink!“

“Wyrmwood Public House at the Texas Renaissance Festival is a complete treasure.
The staff showed genuine warmth and went out of their way to be accommodating, even when it was crowded. They treated us like guests instead of just visitors…answered questions, helped customize drink choices, and made us feel like they truly valued the experience we were having there.
Their drink selection is outstanding. It feels more like an artisan cocktail lounge tucked inside a fantasy world rather than a festival bar.
It’s the kind of place that makes you want to stay a little longer than you planned, soak in the ambiance, and just enjoy the moment. If you’re going to the Texas Renaissance Festival, Wyrmwood Public House should be at the top of your list.“
