“I’ve driven past Pickles for as long as I can remember, and tonight I finally decided to stop in. Honestly, I couldn’t have made a better choice. The moment we walked through the door, we were greeted by the owner and a couple of his friends, it felt more like walking into someone’s home than a bar.
Pickles has this old Cypress vibe that you just don’t find anymore, and being there reminded me of summers with my family back in the day. The whole place had that comfortable, familiar feel, almost like hanging out in your uncle’s cool bar.
They even taught us how to play shuffleboard (Tuesdays and Sundays are shuffleboard nights if you’re looking for some competition). We came in on a Saturday, and while it was a little quiet, it didn’t matter. The owner and the folks there made sure we felt welcome, and the slower pace actually made it even more personal.
Pickles is genuine, nostalgic, and one of a kind. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home, this is it. 100% worth a visit.“

“We visit Ambriza nearly every week, mostly at Towne Lake or La Centerra, for everything from casual dinners to birthday parties—the atmosphere is always lively, service is fast and friendly, bar offers quality drinks (ice-cold beers, top-shelf margaritas), fajitas and the Parrillada Mexicana are must-haves, and starters like street corn, empanadas, and ceviche never disappoint—perfect spot for family, friends, or any celebration, always consistent and highly recommended.“

“My wife and I were joined by our best friends for an evening out. We all really enjoyed our first time to visit Mirage38! Service was first rate! Food & drink was wonderful! Ambiance definitely upscale! Enjoyed chatting with Chayn outside the restaurant! Looks like they have a number of special events coming up to enjoy! We live in Brenham but we are looking forward to returning soon! Highly recommend this place for quality food, drink, and great conversation!“

“We celebrated my daughter's 19th birthday here. She was so happy that I chose this place! There was about 15 of us!! The service was good!! We sure kept Kimmy busy!! Lol!! The drinks were good, but the food... was delicious!! From the boudin balls, to the spinach dip, to the fried shrimp!!“

“We just had a Sunday roast dinner here and it was absolutely amazing, I highly recommend this place we tried the chicken tikka masala a couple weeks ago too which was lovely too we plan to try the Thai food next xx“

“Julio’s did it again with exquisite food! I had lunch for 15 at my home with fajitas and sides. The delivery was on time, hot food, and plentiful quantities! The beef was so tender and tasty! Everyone loved the food and asked for the Julio’s address!“

“My wife and I ate there this afternoon and the food was excellent, service was prompt and attentive. It is a great family atmosphere with a variety of music playing with a colorful atmosphere. I mentioned to the Manager on the way out that the only thing missing was real Salt and Pepper Shakers. Fast food places use the little packets but a nice place like Rudy’s should IMHO have the real thing. We will come again and have a nice meal and a drink and will look forward to using their new Salt & Pepper Shakers!“

“First time eating here and did not disappoint! I had the Benny Duo & selected the barbacoa and the smashed avocado! Absolutely delicious! I don't like eating out and prefer my own food, but this was a treat for sure! It's beautifully plated and cooked to perfection!“

I went on a Saturday night to celebrate a birthday, and the place was absolutely packed — you couldn’t fit one more person inside. Right away I thought, “If it’s this full, it must be good,” and I was right. Every single dish and every drink we ordered was super, super delicious. The food was incredibly fresh, and all the cocktails and beverages were amazing.
The service from Melanie was truly outstanding. She took care of us in every possible way and made the entire experience even better.
Santi is a cozy, beautiful, and welcoming spot, perfect for celebrating any type of occasion.
I highly recommend it — 100%.“

“DJ FIRE! He catered to 30 to 50+ crowd mixing popular, hip hop and soul with bounce music. Superb! Although I'm a lil bias being from Louisiana! Dance floor waaay to small! They could remove the stage to give more space. Ambiance/design on point otherwise, Nice/clean restrooms, service from wait staff and bar...we had to flag down the waitress and REQUESTED one for over an hour! Waitress was very nice WHEN SHE DID GET THERE. Burger was drenched in salt. Asked for ketchup about 3 rounds of a waitress passing us by. Gratuity is included, Menu options are few. I would go back, BUT just for the DJ and the pictures.“
