“On July 12 my grandmother and I went to lunch at Top Sushi when a huge storm came in. The manager who has always been so friendly, welcoming, and kind was there and went to every table offering to walk each customer to their car with his personal umbrella. While I went to grab the car he stayed with my grandmother, held her things, and made sure she got in the car dry while he got hit by the rain. He also showed such concern to me making sure I wasn’t driving far and told me we were more than welcome to stay at the restaurant until the storm is over. I was so moved by his gracious acts and being a genuinely great person. You don’t see that anymore and I am so appreciative of him. I did not get his name but I want him to know how much that moved my grandmother and I. Thank you!!“

“Food was great! I liked the portion sizes. I ordered the Kung Pao Beef with white rice from the lunch menu. It also came with a egg roll and wonton soup. For my beverage I got a coconut milk tea it was good but will probably pick something else next time. It was empty when my friend and I arrived so the waiter gave us all their attention. Overall good experience!“

“My boyfriend and went here after 10:30pm, as we discovered they were open until 12 on a Monday night! The owner, who seemed to be doing everything himself (possibly someone else in the kitchen with him, but uncertain about that), was super friendly and pretty funny too! The inside is modest, on the older side and seems to mostly do to go, but don’t judge a book by its cover is all I can say! We had the place to ourselves, which was cool. We ordered everything at one time, and he brought it out as he was making things. Pink lady roll, the love roll, spicy tuna roll and rainbow roll were all very fresh and delicious! There were to go orders coming and going the whole time. We were there until 11:45, when he had to turn a few people away. The entire time, he was happy and hustling around, trying to do his best to keep up. I can see how if you’re in a hurry, you might be frustrated, so keep that in mind! His drink cooler is broken, so we had to go next door for cold drinks, but that’s a minor inconvenience (and they didn’t care that we got a free refill!). The soft shell crab was fresh and good, but I would have loved some kind of ponzu sauce with it, personally. The sauce that came with it was not my favorite, but the crab itself was good! The chicken hibachi dinner was the last item to come out, it was a large portion (especially the chicken), and very delicious also! We took it to go, since it was late. The fried rice that came with it, as an upgraded charge, was generously portioned and soo good! He did forget the onion soup, which I didn’t notice till we got home, but it was late, and he was busy so I’ll let that slide! Restroom was out of order, but Wingstop Nextdoor is open late with drinks and a restroom, so not a huge deal. We will DEFINITELY be back. The prices, late hours, very pleasant owner, generous portions, and surprisingly delicious food, make this a little hidden gem that will probably become a go to spot for us! Stop in if you would like to be pleasantly surprised and greeted by a very friendly owner, who clearly loves what he does!!“

“We were out to dinner with family this place was completely rude told me to be quiet and told my table to quiet down we were the only customers in there other than one other table that had just walked in at 7pm on a Saturday. I do not recommend this place if you are looking to go out and have a good time with your family the staff is rude the owner is unbelievably rude with their comments. They seem to think that they don't need customers told me that in my review you can actually go back and read it On Google let me be clear here you stay open because people pay for your food I will tell everybody not to go to your place The food is not even that great it's mediocre at best. The service horrible especially when they come up to your table of 3 girls laughing which is a mother and 2 daughters and grandchild having a good time together who haven't seen each other in a few weeks so of course they're catching up laughing having a good time let me be clear nobody around me is more important than the table that I'm sitting at we were not obscene and we were not rude until your staff was rude to me and I will be he and you were out of line and disrespectful. You don't want my money that's okay you told me that and its in a Google review I'll never give it to you again There are plenty of Asian cuisines around the area and I will gladly give them my money instead. 0 star.“

“Best chicken teriyaki! Good portion at a good price. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the veggies were delicious. If you love sashimi I recommend the beef sashimi. Our waitress was very nice. Good food and good service. I will definitely be back.

“The food here was super good! The Botana Shrimp especially has me hooked. By far the best Cajun boiled shrimp I’ve had. The flavors were on point, and I really appreciated how fresh everything tasted. The server was also incredibly nice and very patient in explaining the menu and answering all my questions, which made the experience feel welcoming.

Now, I’m not usually one to leave reviews, but I did find one thing frustrating: the napkins. I had to ask multiple times for more, and each time I was only given one or two. I honestly started to feel bad for the server, who kept having to run back and forth between my bites just to bring more napkins. At first I thought maybe it was just our table, but I looked around and saw that other tables also only had two or three napkins max.

Maybe I’m just messier than the average person, but with so many finger foods on the menu, it feels like more napkins should be the norm. That small detail aside, everything else was great. I’ll definitely be coming back just hoping I won’t have to ration my napkins next time!“

“We tried this place just by passing by today 8/18/24. We have eaten at many other places and we love this one. Food was excellent and good serving sizes. Prices are good. We had three different sushi plates and it all tasted fresh. I had a vermicelli bowl and absolutely loved it. My husband had Pho and our kids had orange chicken and house lo mein. Everything was fresh. Staff was so attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back.“

“Went the first time the other day with my husband for lunch. We sat at a regular table and he got steak and rice hibachi and I got the chicken and shrimp with fried rice. Typically I go to ichibon which is another Japanese hibachi place on the other side of town. I've been desperately craving that kind of food so we decided to give this a try. So this place is pretty average prices actually they're cheaper than ichibon so I appreciated that because for my husband and I to both get a big plate plus drinks other than water it was around $50 before tip. At the other place I've gone to that would've been easily $65 before tip. So I did appreciate that the prices aren't too outrageous. The food was good and flavorful. Is it my favorite hibachi ever? No. However seeing as it's quite close to my house and I do crave that kind of food often I would definitely come back. Next time I'd love to bring my son to experience his first hibachi place! 4/5 as I'm just used to the flavors at the other place so that's what I'm comparing it to.“
