“I have lots of allergies (garlic, rice, sesame and soy) and generally avoid Japanese food due to this. We decided to eat here today and I was so glad that they fully accommodated my allergens! I had the teriyaki shrimp with no sauce and instead of rice, double steamed veggies. It was cooked beautifully, the shrimp were crispy and the steamed veggies had great texture! Thank you for being so accommodatingDietary restrictions: Very accommodating for my allergens!“
“Good spot for authentic Asian cuisine in the area. Lots of options to choose from for any dietary needs. Portion sizes are good for the price, family style. The noodles were very good, but the orange chicken batter was a bit too sweet and chewy for me. Overall not a bad place to go, especially if looking for an authentic Asian cuisine spot. Quiet, dark ambiance with a good amount of indoor seating, and fast and kind wait staff.“
“Very very very good food! So good, we went here twice in 4 days during the stay. Everything from gyozas, katsu chicken to sushi was delicious, but the best meal was the dessert - the fried Oreo with ice cream is a fantastic combination! Simply blew us away, again something we ordered during both our visits. It was that good. The venue itself is very nice, gets very busy during the evenings (had to wait at least 30mins) but it was worth the wait. Service was also very good on our first visit; the second time, it was a little lacking. Minor points to mention because overall a great place to visit in the Woodlands.“
“Went to the Shogun on 242 a few weeks ago. This one was much better. Still, not 5 stars. Here's why.Walking in, tables are everywhere, turned at odd angles and pushed right up to the door. You can barely stand inside the door without being "in the way". We even saw two guests being seated who had to straighten their table themselves. You can see into the kitchen from the front door. I'll just say the scene doesn't evoke a sense of confidence in the dining guest. The hibachi experience was great. The chef entertained really well, and the food is great! There is some lack of consistency from chef to chef but that's probably normal.Update months later: For a hibachi experience in the Woodlands, this is the place we still go to. Great lunch prices too!“
“Very nice place for Hibachi. I do not eat this type of food we went to celebrate a birthday and they like it. The sushi rolls we had were good. The one with crawfish on top was AMAZING. Hibachi guy did a good job and was entertaining. We did the family meal for 10. All was good“
“My wife and I have been regulars here for 5 years now. We love sushi and have eaten in many places across the country, but this is by far our favorite! The chefs are amazing artists, the staff is incredibly friendly and the restaurant is always clean and has a wonderful atmosphere!Dietary restrictions: My wife has gluten and soy allergies and they have always been able to accommodate us with amazing meals! In 5 years we have never had an accidental exposure!Wheelchair accessibility: Our grandfather is restricted to a large electric wheelchair and has always been able to dine with us with ease!“
