Use to be my favorite local place been going to the other location and this one for many years with my whole family...was in there over this weekend and as we was at the front ready to pay our bill our youngest son lost a quarter in the machines by the door so i went to help him at the machine ...as I was going to the machine our sever yells at my wife MA'AM WHOS GOING TO PAY! accusing us of trying to walk out on our bill ..it was very embarrassing and in front of other customers..and we got hit with automatic gratuity which we normally don't have an issue with coming in with my whole family plus grandma and grandpa...and we repeatedly asked if there was a manager and was told no...she tryd to tell us she had someone walk out on a tab the other day and thats why she did that ...no excuses ...just terrible..very disappointing and extremely embarrassing...ive spent tons of money over the years at viva.
Most likely me and my family will never return because of this.

I beleive the servers name was blanca on the receipt.

Blanca C. Had horrible customer service. We will not be back due to her unprofessionalism. Prior to this we were weekly customers.

la pajarita Salamanca

I go here from time to time because it is close to my work, today I went 12/27/24 for some chilichesses for my daughter and she got this nail, please wear gloves since 2017, I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant but especially of the one that is by veterans and Bammel, I hope the cook who doesn't wear gloves doesn't get to cook at the veterans' Jalisco 🤮 I won't return here in Cypress again

Wry disappointed with the food. I’ve given this place the befit of the doubt several times but it never fails to disappoint. This last visit I called to let them know the food I ordered to-go was extremely undercooked, the chicken was almost impossible to cut (almost $70 tab) and was told to drive back to take the food back. Not so much me wanting my money back, more of the principal of making it right and acknowledging it! The last thing I want to do is drive back after a long day of work with my kids who have been waiting to get home to eat their meal. The customer service I received from Blanca was pathetic. She said if I couldn’t take the food back today I would have to take it back tomorrow morning. Offering to talk to the cook would’ve been just fine🤦🏻‍♀️

Whether we dine in or order takeout, we always have amazing food from Viva Jalisco! My favorite is the chilaquiles; nice and spicy!! Do yourself a favor and support this local business :)

The breakfast tacos were not up to par. Store bought tortillas just don't make a good taco.
