Subway in Tyler

“This positive review regards a Subway Manager in a (Wal-Mart) Subway located on Troup Highway, Tyler ,TX named Jacob. I purchased a sandwich there yesterday, and used my Debit Card to pay. I did not realize I had lost my card until I was in a store today, looked for my credit card in my billfold, and did find it. Of course I was horrified. Remembered I had gone to Subway as my last stop yesterday. Called and talked with Jacob, Mgr. After I talked
with him and gave him identifying info on myself and card, he told me he had my card!! After going to Subway this afternoon, he asked for my ID, and gave me my Debit Card! I am so very appreciative you have such an honest, compassionate and reliable Manager. He certainly made my day!! Jacob is ‘one of the good guys’! P Collier“

“I've eat here a lot of times. They are normally very respectful as well as professional with a great atmosphere. And a lot cleaner then some places. There are sometimes low in staff so they don't always pick up the phone. they are worth eating.“

My whole said they were disgusting because they taste like maybe some cleaning spray was on them. They even smelled horrible. The place was clean, tidy, had Everybody Loves Raymond playing on a TV, and the food was good!

There were only two people working, one of which (an older middle aged woman) we didnt see contribute at all, but the one serving us was firing on ALL cylinders, and I'm really proud of her for that! I wish I caught her name, she was a young adult, probably in her 20s. Props to her! She was Cleaning our tables after we left, took our orders well, did a good job assembling the food, and was very kind.

“Came in at 8:45 pm on 06/08/23 and received the most outstanding service. I didn’t get the name of the gentleman helping me, but I found out at checkout that I needed to pay with smaller bills. He was incredibly helpful and patient as I went to grab correct change. He was very joyful and kind, as well as giving me some extra cookies. Just a simple late night order made my night! Hopeful that gentleman is able to see this.“

“Jacob at this location is a incredible employee. Friendly and fast. Unfortunately one day he was all by himself with a line and he had it knocked out in no time at all. He deserves a raise or a huge bonus. He is the best employee this location has including management. He will keep people like me coming back time and time again.“

“There is a new girl working at Subway on Grande. Thats nothing really new considering this locations history, but not gonna lie. I've started going back to this location since she has been there, the restaurant seems MUCH cleaner than it used to be. She is always very pleasant and makes a great (not sloppy) sandwich and actually makes you feel welcomed! However everytime I go, she is staffed alone!! She handles it well though, honestly I believe she should be the store manager, if all of the employees followed her lead ( including the current rude manager) they could possibly get a good reputation again!!! I dont know about the day shift but I know just about every eveing Jessica is there, store is always clean, and im always greeted when I enter! HIRE MORE OF HER!“
