Had the fried catfish. It came translucent. Don’t like to send food back but couldn’t eat it raw.
Their frying oil needs to be changed more often. Couldn’t eat the fries.
Won’t be going back.
Went for lunch got a lb of king crab it comes with potatoes. My bf got 2lbs of fresh crawfish and a lb of shrimp.
The potatos were hard af, had them tecook them for them to just come out hard again twice. The king crab was over cooked, the shell was soft and the meat was like rubber. On his plate, the crawfish and shrimp were way over cooked even after he sent it back. Would not recommend. We wont be going back!
If white was a flavor that would be the taste of the fried shrimp. Bland doesn’t begin to describe the lack of flavor.

Surfing Crab Express Victoria offers generous portions that can satisfy multiple people, making it a great value despite being a tad pricey. The flavorful dishes, including the CC Surfing boil and fried catfish, are highly recommended. The restaurant is kid-friendly and provides excellent service, with friendly and attentive waitstaff like Gabriel and Grace. The atmosphere is very nice and the restaurant is spacious, with a pretty interior and paintings that kids enjoy. The menu has a wide selection of food, and the staff goes out of their way to accommodate guests, even providing wet wipes and gloves before meals. While some dishes like the fish platter and sausage can be salty, others like the shrimp with extra potatoes are much better. Overall, it's a hidden gem that's definitely worth a visit.
