“My wife and I found Dawn Donuts one day when we were too busy to cook breakfast and ever since, we’ve been returning for those delicious apple fritters! They've really nailed it with their breakfast food. The standout for us has been their croissant sandwiches (bacon for the wife, sausage for myself). We've had it delivered a few times, and it always arrives perfectly - the croissant is buttery and flaky, and the sausage is just the right amount of savory.I've also heard rave reviews about their kolaches, and though we haven't tried them yet, they're definitely on our list. If they're anything like the other items we've had, I'm sure they'll be fantastic.But again, the real reason we keep ordering from Dawn Donuts is for the delicious donuts and those apple fritters. “Billy is amazing!! He is open every day. Even during the hurricane. The muffins, doughnuts, egg sandwiches and breakfast tacos are made fresh everyday. We especially love the blueberry muffins and the bacon or sausage egg and cheese crescents. He opens very early so you have time to go by before work. He usually closes around 1:00 pm. “I would say that this is a hidden gem but it's really a gem that MANY people know and visit...just off the beaten path a little. It happens to be on our bike route, so we often stop then as well as anytime wifey and I head out of town. Very friendly "staff" (family) and always clean. Food is great (coffee good too). I'm a kolache person, so they have a good selection. Seating is adequate as well.“

They are so friendly and welcoming plus there’s a spacious area to sit down. Their food taste fresh everytime, I can’t recommend them enough. Just a tip— there’s another exit/entrance behind this business on Allen Genoa, so if you’re having trouble exiting back onto Shaver St., I would go through the back side. I know that part of Shaver St. gets hectic during weekdays with the high school across the street.“
