“I have eaten here many times over the years as it is a walking distance from my home. This is a hidden gem in clear lake for Indo-Pak cuisine. I am leaving a review because post Hurricane ? Beryl this was one of the only dining restaurants that was open to the public with power. The Alief team served the community and gave yummy hot food after such a hard time in our city, the people who worked there on that day were so nice and patient with all the customers even though I could tell they had an overwhelming response. 10/10 recommend this place! ?“

“Never tried Indian cuisine before coming to this place. It was good and they have a buffet for lunch only which was really good and convenient. Me and my wife will be coming back. The price for the buffet for the two of us was right at $40. I’m not an Indian cuisine expert but I would recommend this place. The service was great and they were friendly. This used to be Star Grill and I expect under new management. The staff were very friendly/helpful and the food was GREAT.There was not such a variety of menu choices as I might expect (e.g. no potato/cauliflower type dishes), but what we had tasted wonderful.The atmosphere is a work-in-progress, I hope they lose the canned sodas and refrigerator machines in favor of a more traditional style dine-in restaurant.Unusual to see a table-tennis table in the corner, but I expect it may be a leftover from the previous version of this place.The butter chicken was perfect, the biryani wonderful - but be conscious that some chicken dishes have bone-in chicken pieces.Go for the food, not the decor!“

“Definitely my new Indian Restaurant in the area. We had Tandoori Chicken (mild), lamb briyani (medium) and Chole bhature (garbanzos in a sauce -medium) if you don't have a big spice tolerance I felt like the medium was a perfect balance of spicy for flavor and heat.“
