“Without a doubt, this is the absolute best Indian restaurant I've ever experienced outside of India. As a true food lover who has explored Indian restaurants in all major US cities, I can confidently say that this menu is filled with unique and exciting dishes that go beyond the usual offerings. What's even more impressive is that everything is vegetarian! Our delightful host, Dhiraj, provided excellent recommendations that truly enhanced our dining experience. I am eagerly looking forward to my next trip to Houston, just so I can return to this exceptional restaurant.“
“Amazing food!! I’m from Venezuela and I wanted to try some new flavors. So I decided to to tried this place. I have been there 4 times. Every time I have tried a different dish and all of them have been amazing. The place is family owned and managed. Incredible people. Give them a chance to show you the typical Pakistán food.“
“If you love briyani and butter chicken... just imagine it in pizza form. And no, I'm not talking about tomato sauce either, GROSS! I don't like mainstream pizza. I feel like they all lost their tastiness. I found this place while working in Richmond. Only pizza place I'll eat in Texas. I can never leave the parking lot without eating at least 1 slice of my pizza ??The first time I had a pizza like this was when I was working in San Fran. There's is just as good as this one. That's how I got hooked on it in the first place.Beware, they aren't open on Wednesday, which is when I seem to crave it ??“
“The owners and staff here are doing it right! If you watch the video I explain how awesome they were with my parents who have never tried Indian food before. They explained everything and we ate at the restaurant part and it was just so fun. All the food is delicious. It's my favorite local Indiana food plug that I kinda don't want to share but I also can't gatekeep on these people... If you try this place you won't regret it. ❤️❤️❤️“
“What an amazing experience at Eggholic! Yummy food. So happy that we have an Indian street food restaurant near us! Must try the amdavadi touch sandwich and paneer gotala.. The rajwadi lassi is to die for!Vegetarian options: Paneer gotala, lava pulao , amdavadi touch sandwich.Kid-friendliness: Chocolate cheese sandwich“
“I recently had the experience of dining at Elite Restaurant and I must say, the management has truly elevated the restaurant and its events to a whole new level. From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed by the modern and immaculately clean event center. The basic setup provided was more than sufficient for the event, saving both time and money on decorations. Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the food. The quality, taste, and consistency were impeccable. Each dish consistently surprised me with its flavors and presentation. However, the dish that truly stood out and compelled me to write this review was the Matka Ghost. The flavors were incredibly authentic, and the goat was cooked to perfection. It was a culinary delight that left a lasting impression. In terms of the venue, Elite Restaurant surpasses all expectations. The event center is unparalleled, offering a sophisticated and inviting atmosphere that sets the perfect backdrop for any occasion.I highly recommend Elite Restaurant for your next event. Whether it's a special celebration or a casual gathering, their exceptional service, exquisite cuisine, and stunning venue will surely exceed your expectations.“
“I was thrilled to see a food truck catering to those with a vegetarian based diet. I absolutely love Indian vegetarian dishes and I was happy to see new dishes (to me) on the menu that I haven't eaten before.I ordered the Sev Khamni, which is a savory street food snack from Surat, in Gujarat state in India. I'm no expert and this was the first time I've eaten it but from a taste standpoint, I'd say it's at least a 4 or 5 out of 5. It was very good!I also ordered the Dahi Puri, which if I'm not mistaken is a street food from Mumbai. Wow! I loved this food. There were so many unexpected flavors and textures in this dish. It was sweet, tangy and spicy at the same time. The crispness was a surprise to me. I ordered to go because it was about to start raining. After doing some research at home, I saw that it would have been better to eat them as soon as they were made, so I will need to return on a more pleasant day and eat them there. They still tasted amazing to me after the trip home. The service was fast and friendly. They were also very helpful answering my questions. I would have ordered more but I had already ordered from another food truck as well.I will be back to enjoy some more of this amazing Indian vegetarian street food!“
“Gotten only takeout from this place. The restaurant seems medium as far as seating and atmosphere goes. Food is pretty fire though. Auntie is always so nice when you go in. always smiling, always happy to help. Bihari kabab is great, biriyani is great, and portions are a pretty decent size.“
“I have had the pleasure of eating at Desi Delights a few times and decided to cater from them for my daughter’s baby dedication. The event was for 250 people and we ordered quite a few items such as goat briyani, palek paneer, gobi manchurian, and chicken tikka masala. Everything was delivered hot and fresh for the event. Ramesh and his team made sure to work with us to make this day a success. I would definitely recommend them for your catering needs.“
“I went here by myself and was hungry in the mood for meat and rice. I like the atmosphere, plenty of booths, tables for big parties, and even a more traditional area where you sit on the floor (rugs) and eat at small tables. The staff was friendly, my server was great and even the other server working there came by to check on me. And the manager stopped by to make sure I liked my food. The food was delicious! My only issue was I can't handle spicy food and asked for mild spicy, but they asked if I wanted the food washed (no spice) and I said mild was fine. But I should have gone with the washed option because it ended up giving me stomach trouble. I also ordered a dish that had jalapenos in it, and my server warned me about how spicy everything was but apparently I can't handle spicy food at all, even though it tasted amazing. I ordered the mixed grill and added a goat leg. This was good, especially the chicken. I had 2 orders of yakhni soup, which I loved. It's a pure broth and they give you a little lime slice to squeeze in it and it was so good. I had something called Alu Palak which is boiled potatoes with a tasty spinach gravy. This is the one that had jalapenos. It is an awesome dish! Also ordered some white rice with cumin seeds. Had hot green tea to drink which came out perfect. So, a great meal with lots of leftovers because the mixed grill is too much for one person. I had to throw out the leftovers though because it was too spicy. Next time I will definitely ask for the food to be not spicy at all, and if I do order the Alu Palak (it was so good) again I'll pick out the jalapenos. Also will get a smaller dish than the mixed grill, probably one of the chicken dishes because they have tasty chicken here. Highly recommended, just be careful about the spice level because even the mild is pretty strong.“
“Tried their well known. mutton Biriyani . Succulent pieces of baby goat in aromatic rice reminded me of authentic old Hyderabad Biryani ! One common mistake people make with Indian food is to equate spice and taste with heat . That is never the case and this place nails it. Great chicken 65 which the kids enjoyed as they made it mild to order !!“
“The best masala chai I have ever had outside of my own kitchen. I mean...insanely good. The chai was like $3-$4, rightfully so! The chai in the east coast is usually $2 which is exactly what you pay for. I'd pay $5 for this chai - it deserves the same price as a latte from any coffee shop.“
“A hidden gem in an unassuming small strip mall. Do not be fooled. We thoroughly enjoyed the samosa chaat, chutney, Chicken lollipops, and butter chicken. Though the chicken briyani was not a favorite, I would not be opposed to having it again as the chutney was delicious!Kid-friendliness: Limited diner seating.“
“Real good spot for some halal dining. Whenever I come here it's for the beef bihari kebab. It's probably the best tasting out of anywhere I've ever had. If you pair that with their parathas, it just tastes amazing. This their second location in town and this one is quite spacious and well maintained. Recommended.“
“Eric James at Mahesh's Kitchen stands out as the best server I've ever encountered. His approach to service is both personal and professional, creating a dining atmosphere that's comfortable and luxurious.Eric's expert knowledge of the menu, combined with his enthusiastic recommendations, brought the culinary experience to a new level. He managed to be present at all the right moments, ensuring our satisfaction with each course. The attention to detail, from the setting of the table to the pacing of the meal, was flawless. Thanks to Eric, our evening was an exquisite blend of fine dining and personalized service.“
“I have dined here a couple of times with my family. Buffet dinner is so good. Indian and Pakistani dishes. Plenty of varieties. Each and every items are delicious. Best price for buffet. Please go and have try the buffet dinner. I recommend this place to everyone if you like to enjoy Indo-pakistani dishes. I have suggested them to keep beef items separately, not together with other items in buffet set.Parking: Free parking available. Lots of parking lot.Kid-friendliness: My kids love this place.“
“Absolutely love the food in the restaurant. They came home and catered for my birthday and everything was arranged so beautifully . Food was yum and the arrangement was tastefully done . They were so professional and friendly . Highly recommend this place for your next event .“
“My family and I last ate here around 7 months ago. The food and service/atmosphere was way below average… Decided to give it another try and it did NOT disappoint! the food was improved and the outstanding service from the new waiter Jr was such a pleasant experience. He went above and beyond and we will surely be back next week!! HotBits redeemed themselves for sure!“
“Hidden gem in Sugar Land! Indian Summer is not just a restaurant; it's an experience. It's a place where you can escape the everyday and be transported to a world of vibrant flavors, warm hospitality, and pure culinary joy.P.S. Don't forget to try the Malai Kofta! It's truly something special.Bonus Tip: If you're new to Indian food, let the staff know your spice preference and they'll be happy to guide you towards dishes that you'll love.“
“The chaats completely exceeded my expectations. The flavors were undeniably authentic, transporting my taste buds straight to India. While the food was undeniably delicious, it's worth noting that the only downside was the wait time. With just two hardworking individuals running the show, it took a bit longer to get our orders. However, I can assure you that the food was well worth the wait. If you're willing to be patient for a truly authentic and mouthwatering Indian chaat, this food truck is an absolute must-visit.“
“Our event at this location went off smoothly with freshly made tasty food. The hosts served extra dishes to make our evening spectacular. The Banquet room came complete with table linens, audio visual equipment and a beautiful view onto the deck overlooking the lake.We hired a bartender and the drinks were provided by the restaurant. They have a full bar and fine liquor available.Wonderful service from the manager and staff and the owners are very graceful.Vegetarian options: We had a special menu for the evening. Everything was great ?“
“We’ve been here several times, the manager is extremely attentive and caters to customers needs. He custom makes orders to our taste. I recently met the new server who was a bit off putting, kept confirming the same order multiple times and then came back again to confirm twice more ?? by then my folks were through eating !! However the manager was very welcoming and personally tended to us. Other than a little hiccup with the new young lady server, we love the place and HIGHLY recommend it!!“
“I've been going there for years and Yasmeen Cafe has never disappointed me!Absolutely love their service especially Suleman and Mohammed are awesome.Their food and prices whether it's their daily specials, regular orders or catering are awesome.I highly recommend this place.“
“Some good old friend chicken. Not too oily and tastes great; plain. Just make sure you call in and place your order since its made on request. No special sauces, just ketchup and hot sauce; simple. The tables are located in the middle of the gas station so beware if you choose to sit inside and eat.“
“My goodness. The food here is indescribably delicious. Come once and you are hooked for life. I came hungry on a Saturday. Not only did the owners open up and invite me to sit down and eat, when their dining room was closed and doing to go only orders, they gained a customer for life. This is the place to go if you are yearning for some good home cooked Kerala food. Trust me the ambiance will improve once they get going. Call ahead if you want a large order. Show up in person and allow Uncle and Aunty to bless you with the most delicious food!! Make sure you tip, cause they deserve it!!“
“This hole in the wall food truck is absolutely amazing. We ordered daal makhni, chicken tikka masala, chicken karahi, and mutton seekh kabab. We called 20 minutes ahead and the food was ready once we got there. Food was fresh, hot, perfect spice level and the naan was great too. You will not be disappointed! Chai is not on the menu, but when we asked for it the owner was happy to make some for us. Parking is part of a gas station, but there is plenty of space. Can’t wait to come back!“
“Love the dal puri… Must visit place in Houston to enjoy authentic Bengali snacks, sweets and curries. Mouthwatering food items with awesome service. Parking places are there.Vegetarian options: I have uploaded the menu please check it out.“
“Great food , service & ambience. The staff is willing to recommend the house specials and make it as per your spice level. The food too is yummy and hot. The place is neat and hygienic and lot of space to park. Would definitely recommend it for folks looking for indo-chonese place to eat.“
