“Kelsie with a Q and Erica are awesome! It's been a minute since I've had a really good bartender. This place had two! Erica dealt with pressure from a full bar like a champ. Kelsie rocked the transition with a huge smile and a perfect drink. I can honestly say I had the greatest time at this place! I may have gotten the names and actions mixed up? But never the less, this place gets all the stars!

“Great bar and grill with friendly staff and customers. Tricia is a GREAT bartender, organized, quick and friendly!! I especially like their Sunday buffets but they also have shuffleboard, pool and karaoke and lots of TV to watch your favorite program/sport!!! Highly recommend this place.“

“This was an awesome place to go! Me and my boyfriend messed up on dates and thought we had a concert to go to at the Vibe Center. It turns out it was for next month, anyways we didn’t wanna waste our time. We found the nearest bar with pool and it was an awesome environment! Everyone was happy and laughing. We were even offered chicken. The bartender was great! I recommend this place to everyone.“

“Visited La Carrera for the first time to celebrate a friend's birthday. We reserved a table for 15. The owner was very accommodating. The music is loud so carrying a conversation was challenging. Ordered aguas chiles for dinner, they were delicious ??“

“My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and Darren made our experience magical. I've never experienced the combination of service, and amazing food. There's a reason they are known for their steaks and it is a reason worth discovering for yourself. 100/10 easily.“

“Service was great. They could definitely upgrade chairs, tables and apply a fresh coat of paint to restroom doors, etc. Lots of space, fun place.
So, I came back after a long time. Service is still great, but the restrooms are absolutely disgusting. It doesn't take much to buy some bleach and paint. Other customers were cheering when I said that I will post how gross the restrooms are. They make a lot of money. Come on! What kind of low lives do you think your customers are? Zoom in if you dare!“

“My heart is broken and has been broken for a while, i considered La Tuna to have the best cheesy burger and buffalo wings EVERRR. I use to make the trip ftom La Vernia to La Tuna regularly. These two items are not on the menu anymore 🥺☹️ 💔 I hope you will consider bringing them back“

“First time coming here and I loved it! Good selection of new and interesting dishes. Several Russian dishes served, of which I tried Cheburiki and fell in love with it (especially the dill). Great service, and DJ music being played was JAMMING. A lot of events displayed. Definitely will come again.“

“Great service. We came in when they just opened for the day. The owner was very inviting. We asked if they were serving food, but she said not until about 7 pm. Later, she came to us and offered to make a fish sandwich and fries for us, which we thought was very kind. It looks like a fun place to come for an evening. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be back.“

“We went for Sunday Brunch had a big cranberry mimosa, a watermelon margarita suggestion of our bartender Steve, he was extremely welcoming when we were sitting outside at the bar, he acknowledged us right away. “If you’re going to this place expecting Australian cuisine, don’t. The cultural significance is mostly in the decor, and that’s about it. However, the burgers and hot dogs are tasty. It has a cool vibe, making it great for gathering with friends or watching sports events.

“This is an unassuming local bar. You might think that it is local-centric but....the staff is so nice, they make you feel welcome. Good pricing, and the food exceeds expectations. Think of it as a really nice bar with a great food truck in a side window. A hidden gem. Recommend the Buffalo shrimp and sliders...“
“They got good music and decent drinks. But be careful cause they will randomly change your bill and add $50+ to it and say you tipped that. I’d just use cash.“

“I stopped in to Billie Jean for the first time this weekend while out with friends in SATX, and it was a great experience!! This is a convenient spot for a nice margarita + delicious basket of fries. They have a cute outdoor patio, where our group sat, which was a little quieter + calmer (compared to inside the bar). The vibes inside are cool, as it’s curated to an 80s theme. A highlight is that there are lots of TVs behind the bar (thus, it’s easy to catch a college football game, or MLB baseball game at this spot). The staff are really nice, too!!“
