“We decided to try Taste of Asia and ordered take out. The beef pho was delicious! But what really impressed us was their customer service. Once we got home we realized they accidentally left out the spring rolls. We called and asked for a refund but they said they were unable to credit the card back over the phone. The manager offered to make it right if we went back in. We declined since we were already home. A few minutes later, the manager calls back and asked us for our address. He ended up personally delivering them to us!! We are impressed and will definitely be going back.“

“Our 1st time in this restaurant. We've been in San Antonio for 2 years now. This place is a stand alone building. By far is the best Pho we have tasted in San Antonio. We were greeted with 2 smiling faces. There was 1 gentle man sitting eating when we got there. Our server was more than happy to answer questions about what we ordering. We had Pho and egg rolls, and they were delicious. We ordered Egg Foo Young to go. As we sat there I tell my husband we may be short in giving a tip. I said to him that if I had to sit there and wait for him to come back from home to get cash, then I will. The service given to us was an A+. Thank you ladies for your awesome service. Just a quick add on. Our server said to us that if we didn't have enough cash we could come back the next day. Love ❤️ ❤️ you Miss for saying that thank you. They don't do credit cards, just cash or check. We will definitely be back ladies.“

“Today I had the best grilled pork egg rolls with peanut sauce. I’ve had breakfast here several times as well. Very good boba tea too so I highly recommend this cafe. The photo is from a lunch visit.“

“I've always been curious about this place since we pass by it after getting groceries. I love Pho, so one day I figured I should give this place a try. I walked in and was greeted with excellent service. I ordered the Chicken Pho and regular Thai Tea (no Boba), all to go. They told me it would be about 10min to get ready, so I sat down in the nearby waiting area. I wasn't in any rush and wasn't keeping track of time, so the speed was of no concern to me... but it definitely felt like it was less than 10min, which was nice.
The Chicken Pho was very delicious! With it being ordered to-go, I could put in as much or as little of any of what they provided to me into the broth, which was quite nice. I did add a fair amount of the red sauce they provided to help enhance the flavor and give the Pho a little heat to it, which was wonderful. Usually, when I get Pho, I can never finish it all and eat the remaining amount later, but this time I ate it all! I was craving it more than I thought, I guess, haha!
The Thai Tea (no Boba) reminded me of my trip to Thailand with the Thai Tea I had there. It's that good! If any place serves Thai Tea, I will gladly order it because it's my absolute favorite drink now. The fact that the first sip of it put me back in my memories of touring the markets of Ko Kret and buying a cup of Thai Tea from a local there... that's how you know it's good!
I highly recommend and definitely look forward to visiting again! :)“
“Best Vietnamese food in San Antonio. I grew up in Westminster California and missing Vietnamese food and this place does an amazing job at being authentic.“

“Always hits the spot! I never leave without getting the crispy egg rolls perfectly golden and packed with flavor. The meatball pho is my go-to: rich broth, tender noodles, and those meatballs are on point every time. Consistently delicious and always satisfying. Heavenly Pho lives up to the name!“

“For my first visit, last week I ordered 2 take out sandwiches. The Vietnamese sandwich and the beef sandwich. Both sandwiches were served on the softest freshest bread with delicious meats and wonderful veggies! Some of the veggies were pickled and so very tasty! Service was polite and attentive. It was a full house on Friday but I didn't have to wait long for my order. I look forward to trying more menu items.“

“This place is fabulous. when we moved to this side of town, we needed a new Asian place to eat at. My husband and I chose to eat here and by the first bite, were amazed. With covid, we haven't eaten in since BUT we have ordered takeout MANY times. Let me tell you, WHILE THE FOOD IS SERIOUSLY AMAZING, the service.. genuine, humanly good service of these folks is just.. beautiful. Theyre seriously so nice. Which honestly, makes this one of our go to spots and we will consistently recommend this place to others.“

“My family and I wanted to get Vietnamese food, but we decided to try a different spot instead of our usual Pho Kim Long. The restaurant itself is very “hole in the wall”. There was giant fan instead of AC, and the menus were a bit… “well-read”. The lids of the condiments were also rather crusty. However, if I know anything, it’s that many unsuspecting or even dubious places have immaculate food. Pho Thien A wasn’t exactly immaculate, but it was definitely tasty. My mother and sister’s phos were both decent with plenty of meat. I’d actually say they put more meat in their pho than most other establishments. I had the bun Bo hue. The broth was a bit lacking in flavor, but the meatballs and “ham” were absolutely tasty. My brother git the grilled short ribs. He said they were very delicious, but the amount of food was disappointing. The fresh spring rolls were quite good and had plenty of filling.
The only actually BAD thing was that the Coke Zero cans we received were expired by 3 months… we didn’t notice until after drinking them, and they tasted okay, but that should really be checked by staff more often.
Overall, not a bad spot for decent Vietnamese grub.. maybe just check the dates on your beverage cans, though.“

“Awesome spot for pho in San Antonio. Small place but food packs a punch and the service is quick. Came here for lunch and I got my food in less than 10 minutes. What blew me away was the flavor. Staff is friendly and patient. Prices are great. Can’t really ask for more. Great small spot“

“A Remarkable Dining Experience – Wok This Way Sets the Standard Wok This Way is an absolute gem that exceeded all my expectations, both in terms of food quality and service. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel instantly at home. The restaurant’s ambiance is a wonderful blend of traditional and contemporary, creating a cozy yet vibrant setting that perfectly complements the delicious cuisine. The food was nothing short of extraordinary. Each dish was prepared with a level of care and precision that showcased authentic Asian flavors while incorporating modern twists. The variety on the menu was impressive, offering everything from classic favorites to unique chef specials. We sampled a few different dishes, including the savory Kung Pao chicken, the aromatic Thai basil stir-fry, and a perfectly crispy spring roll appetizer – each one was a standout in its own right. The balance of flavors was impeccable, and the freshness of the ingredients truly shined through. You can tell the kitchen team is passionate about their craft, and it reflects in the quality of every bite. What truly elevated the experience at Wok This Way, however, was the top-tier service. Ricky, who not only served us but is also the owner, brought a level of hospitality that was both professional and heartfelt. His attention to detail was exceptional – he made sure our glasses were never empty, checked in to see how we were enjoying each course, and even took the time to share stories about the restaurant’s journey. It’s rare to come across a place where the owner takes such a hands-on approach, and it made our visit feel incredibly personal and special. Ricky’s genuine kindness and dedication to providing an outstanding dining experience were truly a blessing. Overall, Wok This Way offers more than just a meal – it delivers an experience that lingers long after you’ve left. The combination of outstanding food, an inviting atmosphere, and remarkable service creates a dining destination that sets a high standard. For anyone looking to indulge in delicious Asian cuisine served with a side of heartfelt hospitality, Wok This Way should be at the top of your list. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to try more of the mouthwatering dishes on their menu!“

“very solid bánh mì, not everyone has the bread on the money but they do. meat was actually charred and hot unlike some places where the cooked meats feel lukewarm
i’d come back here often if i didn’t live on the opposite side of town.
matcha latte was also good; could taste the grains in the drink, well mixed“

“Ive never had Vietnamese before coming here. This was a great place to start it looks like a family owned buisness so service was slightly lacking: we never got refills for our drinks (but im not sure if its because they charge for each refill) my husband got the Curry Chicken - C21 & I got the Pho steak -P4. I really like my pho it had flavor and if you want you can ask for it spicy. NOTE- The portions sizes are BIG so do not come thinking its a small portion.“

“The service here is amazing. The pho tasted so good and I had some scallops with shrimp and veggies with a side of white rice that came with it and it came to a total of 30 bucks :) they're open 6 days a week, closed on Sundays. The place is very clean and even the cook came up to our table and made sure we were taken care of without being annoying (some places check on you too often) we'd totally come back again!“

“New restaurant in San Antonio. Real Northern Vietnam cuisine. The food was delicious. You should definitely try it. Nhà hàng Việt Nam mới mở với những món ăn mang hương vị phía Bắc rất ngon. Mình đã thử nem vuông, nem tôm, bún chả, kem xôi và đồ uống ở đây. Tất cả đều thực sự rất ngon. Nay quán có thêm nhiều món mới. Rất mong mọi người ủng hộ để quán phát triển và chúng ta có thêm địa điểm để thưởng thức món ăn ngon.“
“I love this place! I’ve eaten here since the late 80s. It’s sad to see them struggle after Covid, but they’re hanging on. Please eat here! Support local! The food is amazing in spite of the building being run down. Their wine selection Bo’s INSANE!“

“I go every time I visit San Antonio, one of the most reliable places to get your crab boil fix. Market prices aren't bad, if you want to order ahead, call the store, don't use the website as the market prices change too frequently. If you visit in store the set-up makes the crab boil mess a non-issue! The garlic cajon style with extra spice is where it's at.“
