“I stop here every time I’m in the Pflugerville area for lunch. I always get the grilled pork banh mi and run it through the garden with the original Moi sauce.“

“The bun rieu and nem nuong were great with authentic flavors that reminded me of my grandmas cooking. Their menu has a variety, showcasing a lot of different Vietnamese cuisine that I could only find at home!
The staff were attentive, and friendly which added to the warm atmosphere of the restaurant.
Will definitely be coming back, a taste of home far away! ?“

“I tried the specials: banh mi chao, sweet chili chicken rice, and ube coffee, and they were all delicious! The chicken was a bit bland, but the sauce over the tumeric rice was simply amazing. The ube coffee needs a good stir to blend the flavors, but once mixed, it’s really tasty. The star of the meal was definitely the banh mi chao. Everything about it was incredible, with each ingredient tasting great on its own or stacked into a sandwich. It was a bit messy since there’s so much to fit into the bread, but it was absolutely worth it!
The only downside was the number of flies around—I wish they had one of those tabletop fly fans. On the plus side, there’s an interesting gas station next door where you can walk around while waiting for your food.“

“Ordered the beef hot pot special. Came with beef brisket, shank, stomach, meatballs, intestine, slices of flank, vegetables with tofu, and your choice of rice or egg noodles. They give you this tangy (sriracha mayo?) sauce that pairs perfectly with all the beef items. The soup base was a richer pho broth that contained bonus pork bones at the bottom. The beef intestine was filled with what seemed like bone marrow which allowed it to absorb the soup and hold more flavor. Quality beef ingredients. Feeds 2-4 people or a filling meal for two with leftovers. Most diners had this hot pot on their tables on Saturday night. Might want to call ahead to order to avoid a long wait time.“

“I ate PHO Bo. Visiting Austin for 3 days and I was looking forward to eating some great BBQ and was let down Austin. However I searched for a great place to dine while I was in Austin and learned about the Le Bleu being an excellent local Vietnamese Cruise. Then I thought that I don’t recall when I had Vietnamese Cruise last. My expectation was high to eat some Pho especially the broth, veggies and beef. I’m not a noodle fan and me personally I want to be filled up by protein, veggies and broth whenever I have Pho. (Disclaimer I have eaten well throughout my visit in Austin and I was just looking for local cuisine that wasn’t glamorous nor expensive.) Le Bleu serving proportion is not to the custom of a cake bowl of Pho. The proportion was excellent, something from your own kitchen; not to be disappointed with. The broth, veggies, beef and even the noodles; yes the noodles was superb. You won’t be disappointed and my gluttony kicked in on having more and ordered Vietnamese coffee and chicken sandwich. You will be disappointed for not trying Le Bleu. No need to add fancy photos to lure you; glamour is overrated. You need to judge the food for yourself especially if you are a residence of Austin or anyone visiting Austin. Your tummy will be satisfied with some great food and drinks.“

“Dude!!! This place is fantastic! I always get a Banh Mi Dac Biet with pate (in Vietnamese "Dac Biet" means like "THE SPECIAL") and is usually a combination of the best stuff they got (goes for Pho too). They also make great grilled pork Banh Mi (Thit Nuong). Don't skip the veggies too, it's part of the flavor/texture balance - you're excused if you have the cilantro "soap taste" gene.
If you don't do delicious creamy liver pate... I get it, but you'll never know the legit experience of a Bunh Mi Dac Biet (essentially the Vietnamese equivalent of the Italian cold cut).
Also - they serve Che (pronounced with a down-up tone like "chey-uh") with are wonderful desert puddings with coconut milk/cream, sweet beans, coconut jelly strips, tapioca, this is so good - but try it with ice.“

“Bun Belly is awesome. Absolutely delicious food -- and so much of it is gluten-free! Without sacrificing taste. A wonderful choice for a person like me with gluten allergies. The owner is gluten-free as well, so she knows. Great service and nice atmosphere. Love the pork belly spring rolls, vermicelli bowls and pho. Great Thai tea.“

“I loved Pho Dan, and you will too! I have been to Pho restaurants all around the USA (not Vietnam yet), and Pho Dan stands with the best of them. Delicious authentic Pho, generous portions, and a clean comfortable setting. This is the most Authentic Pho we have had in Austin so far. We will be back“

“I crave this place ALL the time. Every single thing on their menu is very tasty. Bahn Mi Breakfast Burger and potato salad, with a ribeye Bloody Mary always cures my hangovers. Fiancé frequently gets the pork belly bahn mi and absolutely loves it. I love this place so much and will continue to supporting them with our patronage. I almost want to even offer my professional photography services to the owner because I love lifting up local businesses I genuinely want to support and see thrive!“

“Went with three friends. Got egg roll and meatball pho. Egg roll was very meaty and crispy, among the best I’ve had ($5 for 2). Pho was $14 and came with a lot of meat and good broth. One minor gripe is that I guess that meatball pho does not come with fixings (bean sprouts, lime, etc.) but I just appropriated some from my buddy’s plate. The meal was very filling, would recommend. They also have banh mi, fried rice and other foods for those not interested in pho.“

“True hidden gem with best food and low prices. We’ve been goong here for years and havent seen he price increase since 5 years. Amazing food and down to earth hardworking people that run this store. I have so much respect for the older gentleman at the billing counter, despite his age he works hard and runs this restaurant.
Their banh mi is to die for, so fresh and yummy. We always get their fresh kumquat lemonade, veg soup, jicama sprong rolls. This time we also tried their sweet sticky rice. Everything was so yum. One of the best and honest viet cuisines in austin.“

“Wonton noodle soup was delicious. I don’t care for the pork spring rolls, they tasted funny to me but the boyfriend loved them. Food came out very quick and was hot. The noodles were a bit clumped together as if they’ve been sitting for a while. Decent price. Clean place. Good service.“

“Absolutely impressed with my experience at Hao Hao. First and foremost the service was perfect. Hostess was friendly and my waiter was on top of everything. Very courteous.
I ordered the Mongolian beef, which is my go to when trying a new restaurant. The beef could definitely be spicier, and I didn’t really care for celery in the dish itself. But these are more preferences and did not take away from the experience. The egg roll was perfection.
I will be returning when I am in the area again.“

“We had an eggroll break between 2 of our films this year at Austin Asian American Film Festival and well, of course it was a smash! Thanks to Fresh Tofu/Uncle Phan's tofu for working with on our order of 200 eggrolls (1/2 pork, 1/2 veggie).
It did take a Vietnamese speaker a couple of calls to place the order with them since they're a small staff and often busy, but once set, we sent someone to pickup and pay. The eggrolls were very fresh, hot and stayed that way for a while until they all made it into our audience members bellies!“

“The Pho was excellent. The service was very friendly and super quick. The atomshere is kinda basic, but that doesn't bother me too much.
I really appreciate that the water is filtered and is much more tasty than the cruddy water you usually get from the soda dispenser. It
is small things that make a difference. I would go again!
Vegetarian options: Meat is always an option

“No frills, a gem of a ‘hole in the wall’ joint. Simple and delicious cheap (price) food. They have backery/sweets for sale in the front that looked divine, will be back to try later. Pork banh mi- perfectly crisp exterior and fluffy interior bread, balanced fillings - hefty portion of pork balanced by slightly sweet pickled carrots and daikon with a kick from the jalapeños. Bun bo hue- deeply savory soup base with chewy vermicelli noodles, tender beef, pork was a bit tough, ideal onion to noodle ratio per bite, plenty of bean sprouts on the side. Pork and mushroom banh cuon- perfectly cooked springy rice wrap with juicy pork and mushroom mince filling. Topped with fried shallots, basil, and cilantro. Not commonly offered at Vietnamese restaurants and this place’s is heavenly. One of the best Vietnamese places I’ve been to and I’m from Houston. Will dream of the banh cuon and banh mi from here.“
