“The staff was awesome and friendly. The Pho was really delicious. The wings were not as great, half of them had broken/sharp bones. The seating is SUPER uncomfortable which is likely done on purpose so folks won't overstay, but c'mon... would it kill them to put some cushions on those cold metal chairs? Even with their short-comings, we'll go back for more Pho in the future!“
“One of my fav Vietnamese restaurants to go to in Austin. I can't believe I never reviewed them before. Their specialty is Banh Mi sandwichs and vermicelli bowls. I think what makes them special is that they are always consistent in their quality, and they have a nice variety of sauces that are not Vietnamese. I have not been in the area for a while, so it's great to know the food still tastes great. I actually tried a different item from their menu, the Viet Taco. Oh man, it was messy but delicious bc he piled the toppings on. I got the pork taco and it did not disappoint. You taste the freshness of the ingredients along with the Viet flavors encompassed by a buttery chewy tortilla, man it hit the spot for me. Bc it was so packed, I thought the tortilla was gonna break on me but it didn't. The customer service is great, and the prices are decent, I highly recommend giving this place a try.“
“I hail from Seattle, home to some great Pho and the weather dictates one eats it quite often so I've had my fair share. But this pho spot blows all of them away. The menu is simple but the flavors are complex, balances and absolutely delicious. The broth is salty, meaty, and umami. The meat is tender and the noodlea are fresh. This is a must try if you're looking for a bowl of noodle on the next cold day.“
“What a gem! The absolute best bahn mi in Austin! Plus they have espresso/coffee drinks now! And they give you a free cup of soup while you wait. Their new renovations also improved the atmosphere in a big way.The owner makes her own bread everyday, in addition to the entire pastry case (don’t leave without a dessert)!!I love going here for business meetings or when I’m meeting up with friends for lunch. Nobody I’ve taken here ever goes there and leaves unimpressed.I love the pork belly bahn mi & her sesame sweet bread. The owner always recognizes me when I come in & memorized my order. :)“
“It's named something else now. It's the fresh bowl. I was very disappointed. Because they didn't give us very much food at all. In fact out of all the Asian restaurants I've eaten at. This restaurant gave us the least of amount of food and had the highest prices. We really were disappointed.“
“This is the best Vietnamese food I’ve had in Austin and probably my first review of a food spot. They are just so good, I felt compelled. In addition to the food being delicious the prices are incredibly inexpensive. $37 for three bahn mi sandwiches, one kimchi fried rice, and a seitan nugget entree is just crazy for Austin. I tipped extra just because I felt like I was stealing. The portion sizes were great as well. This will be my new go to for dinner. Just gotta get there before they close.“
“The service was friendly, attentive, and helpful. We got the durian sugar cane drink that was so good that we ordered another to go. Banh mi and crab glass noodles were good. They gave us little coconut almond cookies for dessert. We also ordered the coffee and pandan jello and it was soooo worth it!“
“I recently moved into the area a few months ago and found this place not to far from my house. They do trivia every Thursday and it has become our households biweekly activity. I absolutely enjoy the atmosphere and how delicious all of their food is. The view tex martini is my number one order and well worth the price. I am looking forward to their new menu coming out in a few days and hope they don't get rid of the viet tex martini.“
“I label this as “Austin’s last local spots” not overly trendy or done up with fair prices and good food. Super typical Asian place with big menu and not overly bothersome waitstaff.Food comes out quick, huge portions, good prices. Solid and delicious food every time I come here. This isn’t a trendy aesthetic spot, it’s a clearly well loved local spot. I’ll continue coming here for this amazing pho.“
“Most people think of pho or banh mi for Vietnamese food. I'm a fanatic for bun, and the bun here is so much better than I've had in any other Vietnamese restaurant so far. It's not even close. I ordered the bun with garlic butter prawns (something I haven't seen as an option for bun anywhere else) and I added egg rolls. The variety and quantity of added veggies (cucumber, carrots, sprouts, mint, radishes) is unmatched by other restaurants I've tried so far.“
“I can't decide which wad better, the food or the service. We were feeling a bit Phoish and attempted to oder online but unfortunately there seems to be a technical issue and the menu is askew. I attached pictures of it so that you dont have the same problem.(YOUR welcome) If you are feeling like Pho you need not look any further. PUT DOWN YOUR MOUSE OR PHONE AND GET YOUR BOTTEM OVER THERE ASAP. The food is delish and the service feels like grandma's house. After tonight my family is officially becoming regulars at this little gem ? ✨️ ?“
“this place is wonderful for take out! I got the Thai green milk tea & the flavor was delicious! For entrees they have different options (bahn mi/ bao/ taco/ noodle(?)) and you can choose your protein. So plenty of options for everyone.I got the Tofu Bahn mi and it was soo good! If the bread was a lottle crispier I would say the best in town. they also have an egg option (if you eat them). Also a few of the appetizers were vegetarian!Vegetarian options: They have 3 different options (bahn mi/ bao/ taco) and you can choose your protein. I got the Tofu Bahn mi and was soo good! If the bread was a lottle crispier I would say the best in town. they also have an egg option (if you eat them). Also a few of the appetizers were vegetarian!Parking: The parking lot is shared with Rosale minimart, so it can be a little bit packed and difficult to find parking.Kid-friendliness: The seating is in a parking lot, and it is just a couple of benches. It's fine for a quick meal, but it isn't great for child safety/long-term entertainment.“
“This establishment has excellent Vietnamese noodles, tofu pudding dessert, soy milk, and ready to eat dishes. This is a self service restaurant. Order at the counter and find a seat in one of the handful of tables. Pick up the food from the counter.Dining atmosphere is completely absent. The place is very small and more suitable for takeouts than dining in. Environment is cluttered with boxes and restaurant supplies that don’t belong in a dining room.“
“To me, this is the absolute best of Vietnamese cuisine. Ever since they closed their 183 location, we'd been on the hunt for another Vietnamese restaurant that could match it and failed many, many times. They are back and even better now! Their vermicelli bowls are second to none! We get the grilled pork with Vietnamese imperial rolls almost every time as it's so good, healthy, and the portion size is amazingly big. I've added a new staple to it and just can't decide between the two sometimes, so I'll just get both and take some home: the Sunflower Prawns. These are enormous tiger prawns and come on a bed of garlic noodles that surprised us in how amazing it is. The noodles are so good, I wish they were their own menu item. I'd order a side of them every time. Needless to say, we'll be coming back often.Hint: the charbroiled pork on the vermicelli bowl is great, but sometimes they don't char it at all. Mention to the waiter that you want extra char on it if you like that.“
“Super fast, friendly, delicious, and it is like they are choreographed when I come in. They know just where I prefer to sit, that I need a fork for my pho noodles, extra bean sprouts/cilantro/thai basil, ice water, a bag when I'm done. They notice if I am not there once a week, and take their time getting to know me. They make people feel special, and are always warm and welcoming. It has been a joy getting to know Thach, Nick, Hal, and An.“
“Arrived right at 11am...gets packed at lunch timeWe had hot n sour soup, potstickers/dumplings pan fried n steamed, orange chicken, pork chop special, pho w/brisket, to go vermicelli bowl and broth soup with veggies n tofu....all delicious!!Parking: Ample sitting arrangementsKid-friendliness: ✅Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“It's so delicious, everyone. Remember to buy sour soup with braised fish and stir-fried vegetables. It's delicious. Went in to try it for the first time and was so lucky to buy delicious food. Finally bought it home 3 hours ago for dinner. In Houston, I haven't seen any place that can cook this well“
“My husband & I were in from out of town. We came upon this restaurant and we were so glad we did! It was everything one wanted as far as food, atmosphere, staff friendliness, etc. I had leftovers & ate them at the hotel cold, even cold was so good. The best Chinese food we’ve had in a long time.“
“I love it here ! Cute corner shop that has lots of yummy vegetarian/vegan options as well. Local spot that's conveniently located; one of my new favorites !Vegetarian options: Labeled vegetarian section, appetizers available as well.Dietary restrictions: Good for pescetarians, vegetarians, vegans, etc.Kid-friendliness: Good food for the whole family!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp access and open table seating“
“One of the best Pho in Texas, the vegetarian pho is also super good. This place is a little hidden gem, clean and simple. The servers are super friendly and attentive with our needs having a small toddler. I super recommend this place. The Pho broth is super rich, and so is the vegetarian broth. I highly recommend this place, they give you good portions at affordable prices, and the Vietnamese lemon roast beef is super good. I recommend the place. ????“
“Odd little place but this is definitely the BEST Phó I’ve had in Texas in the last 8 years. Some of the items are overpriced in my opinion. The Phó is reasonable.I would suggest cleaning the bathroom, it’s dirty. The light switch had dirty marks all over it, the rest of the bathroom is dark tones so it’s difficult to see the dirt.“
“I love Tam and hope it never goes away. I've been dozens of times and always get the banh mi (#14). I see people eating other dishes that look great, but I can't bring myself to try anything but the banh mi because it's exactly what I want. It's always a highlight of my week to see Art behind the counter.“
“Amazing food with very friendly and efficient staff! I stopped by for a quick dinner and got seated almost immediately. The waitress was extremely kind and even gave me recommendations for food to try. I got the Szechwan tofu and egg rolls (the latter being her recommendation). I enjoyed it so much that I finished all the food before I knew it! They had the perfect sauce and flavors to go with it. The waitress seemed to enjoy interacting with customers too, and even took some time to talk about the eclipse with me. Absolutely returning here next time I pass through or stay in Round Rock. The staff, the food, and the service made my day.“
“I absolutely love this place. My partner and I have been eating here about once a week since we discovered it. The bread is perfectly crispy and the meat is amazing. Also recommend the bao which was fantastic. There's also vegetarian options.“
“Their Che is soo yummy. I found their flavored sticky rices to be bland compared to what I am used to I need to order off the menu sometime. I like their banh mis here. I’ve only tried the chicken, but it’s delicious! The banh uot is super good! Be sure to try it if they have it that day.“
“we just stopped because another restaurant wait was too long and let me tell you we were happy we found this spot! the food was fantastic the service was incredible and the whole place is just so pretty and clean!thank you so much we will come back again“
“Loved their Pho! There are plenty of options on how to customize your Pho for anyone craving a specific blend. We had our food within minutes of ordering. You could tell it was a local favorite by how people came and went. I just wished their restrooms were a bit cleaner and stocked.Parking: The parking lot for the strip has narrow lanes. I would recommend parking in a spot that has open spaces next to your car and hope no one parks next to you. Check your car for any dings/dents before leaving if someone does park next to you or vice-versa.“
“Awesome restaurant! The staff is so incredibly kind and friendly, they loveto chat are are clearly passionate about cooking. I got the Orange Chicken and I have to say their portions are incredible for the price, to the point that I barely finished half and am looking forward to delicious leftover.100% would recommend, the surrounding businesses are questionable but this place is a diamond in the rough!!“
“My family wanted some delicious Pho, and since we have eaten here before, this time was carryout. I believe I may have met another family's as well. The father, daughter, and son.. I was greeted kindly , the food was ready, and the son helped me carry to my vehicle since I'm disabled. We all shared, and the food was delicious! I will definitely dine I'm or carry out again.. thank you for the helpVegetarian options: Veggies everywhere.. just combine and your good.“
“The food has consistently been truly excellent with lightning-fast speed from order to table delivery, with copious servings of meat on every order, at a reasonable price. We've yet to have a bad experience, and the great food I've had here makes me crave to return.Especially compared to some bad restaurant experiences we've had lately, with some other restaurants serving similar food at a lower-quality and 150% the price, Pho Yes has been a godsend, with competent management and staff that seem like they work hard and care to run a good business. I look forward to supporting this location for years to come.“
“This place is named Tru Boba Cafe, not Banh mi ngon that Google has it currently labeled as. I submitted an edit with pics. The pork Bahn mi was delicious, crispy toasty roll, and slightly sweet sauce and fresh ingredients. Friendly staff.Wheelchair accessibility: Small curb ramps from car park to store front sidewalk, and no step into the shop.“
“I love this establishment, if you want the best pho in town come here. Ask for the fatty broth if you want full flavor ! ?Parking: Front and back of restaurant, entrance at the front only.Kid-friendliness: They were very kind to my son, and I see their son in here often.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“BY FAR my favorite restaurant for pho!! A little expensive sometimes but always worth it! I have been going here for about 3 years now and they do not fail me ever! There was one recent hiccup and I feel bad for how I reacted but I still really love this place and still have their shirt from 3 years ago (I dont think they sell them anymore sadly). I will definitely stay loyal to them for special occasion Pho though!Parking: Parking is usually pretty open honestly, I havent gone on a Friday night in a long time but the dinner hour on Fridays and Saturdays are usually the busiest I remember!“
“I took my 6 year old here because she saw a video of someone drinking BoBa tea and she insisted she needed some. I’m not familiar with Boba at all, other than occasionally passing the Boba stores in shopping centers. We went in and neither myself or my daughter knew what the heck we wanted, there were so many choices! Staff was super patient with both my child and me, and made recommendations for us. It was amazing!!! I have to say the Oreo shake was absolutely delicious. Plus, my kid and I got to sit at the tables and play Connect 4 (she won, but that’s because she cheated ). Will definitely go back.“
“I'm slowly working my way though all the bahn mi sandwiches in the area with mixed success. I grew up in Houston where bahn mi is cheap, everywhere, and often fantastic. There are decent places in Austin but it's usually a drive and usually a little more money than you would like.Bahn Mi Oven was a pleasant surprise. We neglected this place for awhile due to some critical reviews and the "is this actually a restaurant or does it only exist online" sorta vibe. My mistake, I will definitely be returning in the future. We got the stringed tofu w/ an added fried egg. Generous portions, fresh ingredients, a good sandwich. The bread was tasty. The crust was little soft, but I personally don't mind. I would prefer more jalapenos. The fried egg was cooked just right and the tofu was very tasty. All of the veggies were great. Our brussel sprouts side was solid. I really enjoyed my green Thai tea - creamy and not too sweet.I didn't like the amount of packaging with my delivery order (sandwiches wrapped in individual halves, utensils, napkins, two bags...) But I realize this is a plus for some folks.Maybe it's not the best the best but I suspect many folks are sleeping on this place - their loss. Can't wait to try more of the menu.“
“Wow, this pho restaurant is a gem! The first thing I will comment on is the speed of our food. We ordered and were able to get our food in under 10 minutes, the staff was very kind and helped us out. The pho is really, really good but the stand out dish to us was their chicken rice! It was delicious. I wish I knew how they seasoned it because it is super yummy. Overall, we will be back. Ambiance wise, the place is clean so you don't have to worry and they seem to genuinely care about the restaurant. Thank you for a great experience!“
“We live less than 10 minutes from this place and have never been in until just recently. My only regret is that we haven’t been coming here for years! The food was great, the service was friendly, and the restaurant was nice and clean. Our server was very polite and made a great recommendation. I had the pan fried noodles with beef, chicken, and shrimp, and my girlfriend had soup with tons of noodles and shrimp dumplings. The food came out super fast fast, there are awesome soup spoons available on the table, and hoisin, soy sauce, and sriracha to add as you please. This is definitely a great place for the family or for date night!“
“This togo place is great. We order Thai Curry Fried rice with Tofu every other week with Cream Puffs. It tastes really good and tastes the same every single time. Cant go wrong with this dish. Staff is reasonably welcoming and super quick in delivering food.Vegetarian options: Thai Curry Fried rice“
“Pho Tin is excellent. The food is delicious, the service is fast and friendly, and the atmosphere is very calm. We have been here many times and always have a great experience. They make the best pho I've had in Austin. I love the pork belly bahn bao for an appetizer. The Thaisson delight and lemongrass delight are great if you want a lighter meal than pho. I try new things on the menu a lot, and everything I've had has been delicious. The prices are good, especially for the portions. The service is always fast or exceptionally fast. The owner is really friendly. The restaurant is clean and has a good atmosphere.“
“Truly some of the best Asian food I've had in my life. This place absolutely blew me away. I had the mango beef with steamed rice and it was amazing. The steamed rice was so fluffy and soft and moist and delicious, although it's just simple white rice and was not even meant to be the star of the dish, it completely blew me away. It's the best rice I've ever eaten. I feel like it's a true testament to how talented the cooks are. If they can make just plain white rice so delicious, you know everything else is going to be fire. The flavors in the mango beef were phenomenal as well. I will definitely be back. Of course I wish it was slightly more affordable but you get what you pay for. I can't believe this is just a food truck and not a full restaurant. They are amazing cooks and they're also very kind and the service was fast. I almost never leave reviews but I was so blown away that I knew I needed to. Thank you for a delicious dinner!“
