“My husband and I tried this place out for lunch. I can state the service was good, the atmosphere was not hype just a simple, but enjoyable. Now the food was REALLY GOOD & A Big Portion!! I got Shrimp w/ Cilantro Sauce & he got a Chicken Fried Steak. All I can say is HANDS DOWN!!! THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!! I would definitely drive 2hrs to bring the Family to dine in!“

“My family are from Laredo and we make the drive out to Zapata for fishing trips and often just for lunch, it's a must! The food is always fresh & hot, the wait staff is always fantastic. Even when they are short staffed they ensure to let you know what's going on with your order as you wait. The menu has something for everyone in the family, you can't go wrong with anything you pick. You all have have us as clients for as long as we can keep on going. Congratulations on such a cozy and amazing establishment!“

“Starter salsa with chips was delicious and flavorful. Augie's enchilada plate was also very satisfying, think of entomatadas. The meat was well seasoned and the refried beans were great. The rice needed a small boost in flavor and salt did the job to enhance the spices that were there. It's a definite recommendation and we'll be back next time we're in town!“
