“Near perfect sandwich, I couldn’t think of a way to make it better. Brisket was far and away the best Utah offers, the toast was authentic Texas toast, and I’m not sure what that sauce is but it was a great addition. And I don’t put many sauces on good brisket. The owner and his wife were a joy to meet. I will definitely be a repeat customer, and I would recommend this place to anyone I like!“

“Our first time here and wow- it earns it’s 5 *****! Pulled pork was delish. Fried funeral potatoes- a culinary treat. Cornbread was like dessert with a smear of honey butter. Met Hayden and Cassie who made it all the better. For sure- we will become regulars ❤️❤️“

“The food is great the service is always inviting and the people working there are so nice, if you ask them to remake or change the order they do it right away- sometimes it gets a bit busy and the food takes a while but other than that it’s great all around“

“Brady - the Manager at your location off of Amity in Meridian Idaho did an excellent job of Customerservice and represents your brand very well. I came to them with a concern on something that was left out on an order and he went out out of his way to rectify the situation. It’s sad that More companies don’t follow his lead into taking care of their clientele. I will be a return customer based off of this experience.“

“I got the one meat plate with chicken. It was so tender and full of flavor. I loved the mash potatoes as well- I didn’t even put the gravy on them because they had plenty of flavor without. I love all the variety in sauces as well. This is for sure one of my favorite places to get BBQ!“

“First time in this restaurant. Let me tell you how it went.  Let’s start with it was pretty much empty. Was around 9pm. They close at 10Pm. It’s in Provo, Utah in Riverwoods. The cashier lady was polite and helpful. Choose the 3 plate option. They said that they have an award-winning ribs so I had to try it. •The ribs were good. Well cooked •The mashed potato was unbelievably good. It had garlic taste. But not too strong, just right. •The coleslaw was pretty good. I don’t really like coleslaw, so I was very satisfied. It had a crunchy texture that I enjoyed. •The sausage was slightly spicy. And juicy. •The brisket was unbelievably soft and tender They have four type of sauce on the table, so you get to choose from a mustard sauce flavor, spicy sauce, and sweet barbecue and original barbecue. It was getting late, so the lady came to our table and asked if we were done with our food and I told her we weren’t and then she was very nice to bring us a box to go, and told us to go from the other exit because the other door was closed. Yes, I felt a little pressured, but it’s also because they were about to close so I am understandable, but I still had a great time even though all of that situation happened. I would definitely go back and I won’t order the sausages because that was not my favorite but everything else I would. Let me know what you think when you go try it “

“I was visiting Utah with family and found this place. Service was phenomenal. We got a K-dawg, 4 Cupbops and a Mega Mandoo. I found out after ordering that the 4 Cupbops and Mega Mandoo is part of a group meal which is much cheaper and I didn’t see until after ordering. I brought it up to them and the refunded and recharged the meal and gave me the K-dawg for free. Even after leaving a generous tip it saved me $15.00. If I could give 6 stars for service I would. Food was great. If you don’t regularly eat spicy food recommend starting at a 5 and moving from there. Highly recommend this place.“

“We had an awesome experience at Umami for my birthday. The food was delicious and plentiful. Our party of 10 received excellent service from the minute we walked in until we dragged our stuffed bellies out of there. It’s truly a dining experience. We will definitely be back!“
