Second East - (2nd East) is a favorite stop in Cedar City for locals and travelers alike. The food is hot, fresh, and delicious, offering great value and healthy options. A club sandwich on a hoagie is really filling, and the cool, retro van salad bar provides fresh salads. Guests enjoy a large variety of excellent food, as well as coffee and a selection of ice cream from the nearby Beaver Creamery. They give a huge waffle cone filled with quality ice cream, and kids love the $1 kiddie cones. The staff is friendly, helpful, and efficient, and the owner is kind and welcoming. Service is fast, whether eating inside or going through the drive-through. The atmosphere is fabulous for one person or an entire family, and it is cleaner, friendlier, and more unique than any chain restaurant near the highway. It is affordable, a much healthier option than other fast food, and a must stop for a great meal, good laughs, and savings on the wallet.
