“We ordered entres and a family meal and both were delicious plus a great value. They said the family meal would feed a family of four, and actually would easily feed eight. And each individual entre was enough for 2 people. Unfortunately they ran out of deserts - order early!“

“The Needles Lodge looks like a five star luxury resort with ornate gold platinum lampshades and big wooden beams and huge glass windows and it’s a pleasure to be in however the food is pretty basic. It’s good for families and quick homely snacks such as burgers and chilli bread bowls . If we have paid $162 and that’s with a discount to go skiing for one day you’d expect the food service that’s slightly higher quality. however the setting is really nice and pretty if I was a resort owners I would get a new food third-party company in. However, the snow melt spiked 5% does help. It was a lovely venue and great for families. The staff were really nice and lots of people around cleaning the tables. So well done there. Unfortunately the food quality could do with a little improvement. But I would return.“

“We wanted some breakfast early Sunday morning and found ourselves driving around to a number of closed places. Enter Hermitage, we found our way up the canyon and sat outside on the patio surrounded by trees and cabins listening to the river flow by us. We have 5 boys who can be a little picky with breakfast options and everyone of them asked to come back again next weekend. The serving portions were perfect for us (we do put food away) and the flavors were awesome. The manager who waited on us was so friendly and patient with our kids that we felt like family almost immediately. Very friendly, great food and wonderful atmosphere if you enjoy eating outdoors!“

“Setup like a cafeteria- service was quick at each staging area for the various options and checkout was smooth. If you like a hint of German flavor, they have some menu items for you! I opted for the chicken and waffles and it was amazing! Well prepared, BIG portion and a perfect boost to recharge before getting back on the slopes! The waffle itself was by far one of the best I’ve had anywhere. The views were also amazing to watch people hiking up after the tram and catching some chute runs. Great recharge and refuel next to a huge fireplace!“

“Been going every year for 3 years for spartan race. Always a beautiful place to go to and atmosphere is always great. Service was pretty good. Food was good as well but not great and unfortunately the cooler for drinks was broken so drinks were hot. But they did provide cups for ice.“
