Price is a bit high but the awesome food and service made up for that. The only miniscule complaint is that it did get really warm where we were seated. Other than that very good.“

“My fav sandwich is a philly steak. I accidentally found this hidden gem while picking up a few things at the Fresh Market on 20th and Harrison in Ogden. It's right next to it. The owners are from Pennsylvania and know how to make original Philly's! The are the nicest couple and their food is top notch! The fries are the best I've ever had. This is my favorite Philly place now hands-down. I even had a Philly in Phildelphia this year and these people do it better!! Wish they were in a better location for more people to find them!! “I recently visited the Black Bear Dinner in Ogden. We were greeted immediately and seated by the very friendly host. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. Our food was hot and prepared perfectly. We also had a visit from Christy the manager who double checked to make sure everything was great. “The owner asked what could be done to raise my review to five stars. We mostly enjoyed our experience at Union Grill, but there were a few things that kept it from being a five-star experience. These shouldn't be seen as major problems, just things that were less than pristine. We will absolutely dine at Union Grill again and we heartily recommend it to others.We arrived around 4:30 on a Tuesday afternoon. The restaurant was 80% empty, yet we had to wait to be seated due to staffing issues. While staffing shortages have become common at restaurants and the delay in seating is understandable, it should also be understood to be less than ideal for patrons.The beef medalions were delicious. But they were ordered to be cooked to medium. They were clearly quite a bit rarer than medium. We did not send them back because we didn't care to deal with yet another delay. The dish was still good; it just wasn't cooked the way we ordered it.Even with the restaurant at 20% capacity, available parking was still extremely limited. The lot could also use some surfacing maintenance.Again, none of these concerns are showstoppers. As noted, we recommend Union Grill. But there was a desire to know what could be done to improve the dining experience, so there you go.Parking: The parking lot adjacent to the building is tiny. Expect to either park on the road or park at a lot farther away and walk.“
“I love Virg’s. I’ve never been disappointed with their food or service in the few years I’ve been going there. My favorite dish is their enchilada omelet. I get it with verde sauce instead of enchilada sauce and it’s not your typical omelet. It’s a chicken enchilada wrapped in a thin layer of egg. So good!“

Dulce de Leche creme brulee enhanced with fresh fruit and hazelnut dust was fun. “Great experience! Party of 5. We all had the chef's tasting menu and we all thought the food was amazing! The cocktails were also very tasty. Although the dishes were small, as expected, I was too full to finish all the desserts that were included, and took the pastry assortment home to eat the next day. Price was very reasonable, considering all the effort that goes into making intricate dishes. The only reason I gave the service 4 stars was because 2 different people identified the same dish as having different ingredients (watermelon radish versus watermelon, and I think a few other different ingredients in that dish). “I was in town to see my daughter and she decided to take me to the lighthouse lounge as another place that we were going to go to was completely overcrowded and was just not going to be a place that was going to be enjoyable. the music was excellent it wasn't overcrowded it was an undercrowded it was just a great time the only downfall that I see in the place is how the bills on the drinks We're written up I didn't quite understand how you'll have a name of a drink and then you add the liquor and then you add something else to it instead of just having one price so that I just didn't understand. we had the Fried pickles and those were amazing. I had lemon drop martinis and I will say that they were extremely small and the glasses weren't wiped down so they were extremely sticky from them making the drink. but overall we had a great evening and I can't complain.“

“I've seen a lot of friends talk about this place, so I was excited to finally try it. We ordered a mixture of food and everything was good, but the pie and fries were the spotlight (big surprise). I was impressed with the quality and quantity of meat on my meat lovers pizza and the poutine hit the spot. Food was made fresh to order and the place was quiet on a Saturday at lunch time.
