“food was pretty good. our server, Ian was “busy” behind the bar watching football and talking to other patrons so Kylie was able to take our orders. the food was not delivered by our server, he did not check in after our food arrived, he blamed mistakes on other servers and after we said something he did not speak to us until we got the bill. Overall Kylie was wonderful she was kind and friendly and Ian needs to work on his customer service :)“

“This is a favorite place to grab a quick meal that is delicious and affordable. I had the Hawaiian Teriyaki with island mac, steamed veggies, and grilled chicken. YUM! My daughter and I liked it so much we ate there twice this week. I like that you can make your own bowls how you like and the staff is very friendly. They want the customers to be happy with the food and service and we are! The place is clean and quiet where you can actually carry on a conversation without being drowned out by loud music like some restaurants.“

“Love the wait list! We were seated almost immediately on a Saturday morning! However, once we were seated, nobody came to greet us at our table. We waited for a while and then finally Mel came up and told us that we weren’t assigned to a server because that server had called out! She said that she felt so bad when she saw us just sitting here and so she was more than happy to be our server! Lucky us! Mel took great care of us! She was kind and attentive, and just did a great job serving us in a busy situation! We appreciated her, noticing us and taking the initiative to make sure we were taken care of! Thank you, Mel!💕“

We got the blue cheese burger, one customs burger, the grilled cheese burger, fries and onion strings. The burgers were amazing, best burger I have had I a long time! “A nice classic Cafe with a not overwhelming menu. I was looking for a place that's kind of like home and had good breakfast, and its exactly what I was looking for. They make a homemade buttermilk syrup that for someone who doesnt slather their pancakes or French toast in, definitely did. That was amazing syrup. Pricing is pretty similar to that small town feel. I got the French toast and a scone to go. The French toast was nothing fancy but perfect for me. Nice and fluffy.

I loved watching the locals come and the staff knowing who they are and some even had favorite seats. Great cute little dinner!“

“Given we did not have reservations, a small group of 6 we had a 10 minute wait if that. The restaurant had a good atmosphere, everything was clean, the service was excellent thanks to our waitress! There was a good selectiin of food and drink options. The food was good, came out hot, and our waitress was very attentive.“

“We just had our wedding here 4/26/25 and if I could give 100 stars I would. From walking in the door to see the place to the end everything was perfect! They offered so much for a very affordable price, the food was amazing and plentiful. While the room was a “blank canvas” they offered decorations, a dessert bar, and any help we needed to make our day extra special. It was very professional but a small hometown feel. Our guests from out of town got a great deal with our room block and the rooms were spacious and clean! We didn’t have a DJ but the had a sound system and board to play our playlist. Everything was wonderful and we highly recommend for events!“

“I was hungry for spicy sausage pizza but didn’t see sausage as a pizza topping. I noticed that there was a spicy sausage penne pasta so I asked the waitress if they could use that sauce on the pepperoni pizza that was on the menu. She checked and the chef said absolutely and it was so delicious. I suggested they add that to their menu as the spicy rooster pizza! Our server was lovely and extremely friendly and knowledgeable about her job. We had a wonderful time passing through the town of Ogden.“

“Their frozen custard is very very good, although it’s a little overpriced. The service isn’t great, and it can take quite some time just to order or get your food. The menu besides the frozen custard is pretty basic, but the food is good. Clean tables, clean bathrooms.“

“This is everything you could ask for from a neighborhood bar. The food is alright, I recommend getting an Idahoan to snack on. The beer is great and the conversations/people are wonderful. This is the Cheers of Layton Utah. Everything here is a lot cheaper than you can find anywhere else. A few hours of drinking for two people plus an appetizer was only about 40 after tip. It is worth noting that the bar does not serve liquor, only beer and canned seltzers. I will certainly be back.“
