We planned to stop in near the end of a long drive from Denver. Our meal and the lovely 'outdoor' room were all we had hoped for. We both ordered enchiladas after we were given spot on advice by the waiter. No room for dessert, but a return trip may be in order. The pea fowl made an appearance as we were finishing as an extra treat.
Based on the TA reviews, we made the drive to try this place. We arrived after 1:30 on a weekday so we didn’t have to deal with the crowds. And while this place is “out of the way” it was worth the effort. Food was very good and service was excellent. Servers were very attentive and friendly. This very cute log cabin restaurant has excellent choices of food. The jalapena burger and the halibut fish and chips were particularly good. Very nice patio with pretty flowers and grass and 2 peacocks are very pleasant. The baked goods are awesome especially the carrot cake. I will return! Also the prices are very reasonable.
