Great burgers, fries and amazing shakes! Good indoor seating, some outdoor too. There's a play set for kids in the back, a shady tree in the front and a nice, paved parking lot. The staff was all very kind and made accommodations for our celiac disease (or gluten allergies) when making a raspberry shake, which was so delicious! Note their fryer is not dedicated for fries and they make chicken strips in it. Highly recommend and we will be making Merlin's our new Bear Lake tradition.
Neat little burger shack.
Definitely some of the best raspberry shakes in town! Huge portion sizes, and they get the ice cream out pretty fast. The Pastrami Burger was pretty good, as were the fries. There isn’t a very good customer-to-table ratio, but luckily there was a nearby park with benches and it wasn’t too hot outside. The lines are often very long and don’t move very quickly. However, the food is usually worth the wait.

The peach shake is recommended for those seeking something new. The fries are crispy and delicious, especially when paired with the restaurant's fry sauce. The tater tots are also top tier. The burgers are the best, with reasonable prices and quick service. The customer service was stellar. The restaurant has a very nice indoor place to eat and is one of the coolest decorated restaurants. While the lines can be long and finding parking can be a challenge, the pleasant staff, tasty food, and unique decor—including badges from police stations and dollar bills pinned to the ceiling—make Merlin's a worthy dining choice. The fast service impresses many, as customers often receive their orders quickly. Everything was hot and fresh and the buns they use are excellent.
