“Really wanted some udon noodles. This place had them and they were good with very fine options in meats and sauces to go along with them. Just so much more onion cooked with the noodles than I prefer. I know, it's not fair to cause them to lose a star for my personal preferences. It was still very good, and 4 stars is truly very good. And isn't that the whole point? I get to decide? Maybe have an onion free option for the noodles next time...“

My wife and I went to Pei Wei today at the 10373 S State St, Sandy, UT location. I ordered the Salmon Poke Bowl, and my wife went for the Chicken Lettuce Wraps. First off, super yummy. Like, “I’m already planning my next visit” yummy.

But then came The Crispy Rice Stick Incident of 2025.
The lettuce wraps came with these rice sticks that were so hard, I swear if I had tried to chew them, my dentist would’ve been planning a Hawaiian vacation off my bill. Luckily, Pei Wei’s team stepped in like the customer service Avengers, remade the wraps without the tooth-traps, and did it for free.

Also — and this is a rare unicorn in modern dining — there was no pre-tip line at the register when I prepaid. This is the restaurant equivalent of finding an extra nugget in your Chick-fil-A box. Instant bonus points.

All in all, the food was great, the customer service was stellar, and my teeth remain intact. In this day and age, it’s not easy to find a place where you can get a great meal and not have to worry about something going sideways.

“So I wanted to try something new at Zao and decided to go with the Honey Sriracha as you can see in the picture provided. It has a hint of sweetness but not all-out sugary like teriyaki. It was also enjoyably spicy. I didn’t use any of the sauce except when I was left with just some rice at the end. I’d get it again for sure.“

“I spent $23 for a portion of Curry with rice, Naan, and a coke.
And it was worth every cent, I specifically ordered the mango chicken curry, and it was sweet and spicy.
The lady that served me was very kind and helpful when I wasn’t sure on what to get.
I did not wait long to get the food either, from when I sat down and ordered it took about 5-10 minutes for the food to show up in front of me, and it didn’t taste like I had given up food quality for that quick time.

“By far, the best place to go to around Draper and its surrounding areas! Not only for the food and the drinks but also for the consistently amazing service offered by its employees that makes you want to come back over and over again. I have been coming here at least once a week for the past year. Special thanks to Tanner, who prepares the best cocktails in town (adding some pics)! Additionally, they have special theme days, with karaoke nights on Fridays with Myndy, who is the nicest most inclusive person around, being my favorite, but also bingo and country music for all ages. Separately, just recently, they added this HUGE screen that really makes you enjoy top sporting events as if you were sitting at the stadium. This place makes you feel at home. I highly recommend it!“

I ordered the orzo salad and the chips as my sides. The salad had no flavor. The chips were very hard. I was afraid I might break a tooth. My companion enjoyed a ham on croissant. Our server was fine, but he spilled my drink walking to the table, and I was left to deal with a wet glass.“

I found myself in Pleasant Grove, Utah and oh my goodness, what a treat it was to find myself on Center Street, at Cravings Bistro. I stepped in for lunch, and most of the tables were occupied - took that as a good omen. Walked up to the counter and ordered the TBA - turkey, bacon, avocado, grilled. It's not a fast-food place - food orders are filled when you place your order - and it was worth the wait for the best combo I've pretty much ever had. “I love noodles and company my fiends and I go weekly. The Mac and cheese I get is amazing every single time I go, the speed is fast and my Mac and cheese is always creamy and smooth. The customer service is good, the owner likes to give me a little extra noodles. The price isn’t too high and perfect for the quality of noodles. I only end up waiting around 5 minutes for my food to arrive at my table. Everyone should go and eat the Mac and cheese.“
