“The ice cream here was fun and a good quality, but the prices are steep and it was hard to finish the treats. They are very sugary, which is to be expected.

I was most interested in the shakes since they are decorated, and ordered the cotton candy shake ($15). It came with a pink lemonade sugar stick on top, a seemingly homemade sugar cookie, cotton candy, and whip cream with edible blue glitter. The shake itself had a good quality flavor, tasting exactly as expected with a rich texture. The cup was rimmed with vanilla frosting and sugar beads similar to the cotton candy. The sugar cookie seemed homemade because the frosting had a hint of almond in it, which you typically don’t find at the stores. It also had confetti cooked inside.

The coconut sundae was quite good, having a macaroon type bar added with chocolate drizzle. The macaroon was as expected, but the flavor wasn’t our favorite. It had coconut chunks and breading, but it was more dense with a caramel-like flavor binding the ingredients. Because of this, we found the ice cream itself more favorable since it had the refreshing feeling and bite of an authentic coconut ice cream.

The biscoff wasn’t my favorite, but the brownie on top was fantastic.

We also tried the honeycomb ice cream and a fruity pebble shake ($9). The honeycomb flavor wasn’t my favorite as well, the honeycomb itself was very hard to bite. For the fruity pebble shake, it has the cereal blended into the ice cream, causing the pieces to be very small and distributed throughout. This was a bit of a weird texture to deal with, but the flavor was spot on- ice cream, heavy cream and cereal. It came topped with whip cream. IMO steep price for a shake.

Overall the experience was good, we might come back if there is some really special event we want to celebrate and are in the area. For regular treats, I feel like this is out of our budget and could be made at home.“

“Fun atmosphere. Friendly clerks. Pricing was double what we expected to pay. Check prices before you order. I went in to buy a cone of dole whip and the clerk charged $4.89 for the cone and $4.89 for the dole whip. When I challenged the pricing the clerk confirmed the price was correct. I decided paying over $10 for my cone wasn’t worth it. Also, just a heads up, the tiny one inch cone with about a spoonful of ice cream (think baby size, not even toddler size) costs $5.29. Grossly overpriced!!! Although, our toddler did love his tiny little ice cream cone.“

“October 13, 2022, my sister and I went to Leatherby's for lunch at 12:10 p.m. We order a Philly cheese steak sandwich, and we waited 20 minutes for it, it was barely warm. It had hardly and meat, green peppers, onions on it! I said to the waiter this Philly cheese steak sandwich was on the Menu said The BEST Seller. It had nothing is on it; he took it back and (they probably spit on it) when came back it STILL hardly had any meat etc. on it! It was the worst Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich!!! Service VERY Poor! “I just had the crispy avo salad! Wow! I've never had a deep fat fried avocado before but this was delectable! It's stuffed with cheese and breaded. I will definitely be back. And Mayra was my server. So friendly and helpful. Love this place!

Vegetarian options: Lots of great salads! I ordered meat on my salad, but I typically doesn't come with any.

Dietary restrictions: Great place to eat if you are lactose intolerant. As far as I can tell they have lots of options with no milk.“

“I called at 10:55pm because I promised my son an ice cream for being good. I couldn't get to the store untill 11pm on the dot which is when they close. I asked Britney if she could just get 2 ice creams ready to go and I'll be in and out . She was very nice about it (ugh we all secretly hate the last minute people) so that is very much appreciated . “I love Menchies, especially the tart with strawberries and raspberries. But of course I must try some other flavors each time -just in case. The tart at this location on this particular night was a little more soft and melty than I’m used to. Probably just an off night for the machine. I’ll come back but based on this one experience I’d rather go to the one in Draper where I have been many times and is always firm. Will that stop me from coming back here if I’m in the area though? “I don't often write reviews and I would typically give 3-4 stars here - the cookies are usually pretty good overall, but a little expensive for my taste. That said, I was very impressed with the young lady working there tonight. It seemed she was the only one working (I was in at about 9:30 PM on 9/25/2024), but she was quick, handled a tricky situation without skipping a beat, and made sure the customer (me) was happy. Kudos to your great employee - she earned you that last star or two.“

“The new Coffee House ice cream flavours are amazing! My wife got the cinnamon roll while I got the coffee one. The sweet with the coffee flavor paired wonderfully when we shared! I do wish mine could have been mixed a bit more and it seemed lacking with the quantity of add ins but flavor was hard to complain about.
Store was pretty dirty when we came in late so trying to give benefit of the doubt that it would be cleaned after closing. Overall good experience and some of the best ice creams we've had at Cold Stone.“
