“When we walked in the building we had one of the ladies said have any of you been hear. My aunt has but me and my mom haven't so she carful explained everything so calmly and when we asked questions she so so happy to answer any questions. They offered samples of there ice cream and it was so good it was hard to choose but they were so patient with us. And the place is Soo beautiful and clean and smells Soo good when you walk in. “This place. SO GOOD. They do ice cream right. They have the best dairy free ice cream I've ever found: GIVE ME CHOCOLATE OR GIVE ME DEATH. Mix it with the Benjamin Rush's Surgeon General Strawberry Guava Sorbet *drools* Salty and then sweet; I never get tired of it. The early-US history theme is well done and makes all the flavor names fun. I was going to take off a star for 1) the layout at this location is really awkward. You have to walk through most the seating to get in line. And 2) they charge more for dairy free. Life is hard enough for us folks with allergies, give us a break. Would also be nice if they mixed up dairy free flavors more often... but I didn't take off any stars because I don't want to hurt their overall ratings. So 5 stars it is.“

“This place was BOMB!!! The smashed biscoff donut was seriously CRAZY good, my husband and I wished we got another one. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch donut was actually really good too, super soft and fresh but the smashed donut blew my mind even more. “The cookies are good, but I always stay with the milk chocolate chip cookie. The thing the really bothers me is that they only make them every other week. That is the only reason I go in. I have asked the employees a few times if I am the only one who complains about it. I was told that they have complaints every day of the week when they don't offer them. I don't get it. If it's a fan favorite why only make them every other week?“

“Ice cream is very icey texture here not that it’s a bad thing just less of smooth texture. Chocolate is decent super mild and milkier flavor. I do prefer a more rich darker chocolate ice cream myself but it was not a deal breaker. Cookies and cream on the sweeter side and milky vanilla base with Oreos. Cookie dough was also good vanilla base with chunks of dough (which they almost ran out of must be a big seller). Overall a decent scoop. I think the allure here is definitely the cute drive thru.“

“Good flavors and a great takes on Italian ice + custard. The service was good but the two teenagers were obviously overwhelmed. This also lead to the tables being pretty gnarly - didn’t look like they had been wiped down in a while. But with a huge line of customers I can’t imagine they had a single moment to attend to it.Overall experience was moderately good.“

“Cold Stone really lives up to the hype. Having such a stereotypical food item, you would assume it would be boring. Nope! Cold Stone has so many flavors, in which all are yummy for the tummy. The service is pretty top-notch and usually has a quick line for ice cream. I could mostly go on and on about how good it is. The only problem is the maintenance. I've come to Cold Stone with in-store broken heaters twice, and it is not fun (especially on hot summer days), along with some unsanitary features. “Attention sugar lovers! Our new meet up place is in Herriman at the Salt City Sweet Shop. Whether you are into candy, fudge, soda, caramel apples, cotton candy or ice cream-this place has it. The selection is rather impressive. Candy takes most of us back to our childhood, so it's appropriate that the theme here is "retro." Along with candy from yesteryear, there are cool vintage looking signs and knick knacks for collectors. There are also tons of glass bottles of soda-the kind that you probably grew up drinking, or wish you had. Leatherby's ice cream (arguably the best out there) is served here as well. Want chocolate? Yup, plenty of decadent chocolates as well as a mouth-watering assortment of caramel apples. Really, there's something for everyone. If you don't find something here that you like, I would really question your level of contentment in life. I docked a star for a couple things. First, the location is tricky to get to. There's no direct access from the road, you have to maneuver around the building and enter from the side opposite the main road. It appears that another entrance is planned, but a temporary concrete barrier prevents it from being used until it's fully developed. So that's a challenge-one that will be resolved as the area grows and fills in.The other challenge was the customer service. There were two young ladies working there and neither of them greeting us when we entered. (It's a small enough space, and we were the only customers. It just felt awkward to walk in and start browsing while she just watched us.) When we checked out, I attempted friendly small talk and it fell flat. She wasn't rude, just not the friendly personality I'd hope to find in a local, small business.Otherwise, it's a great place and I'm sure my sweet tooth will guide me back again!“
