“This was our first visit to Salty Bear, just outside the typical season for the area. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and flavor of the food. The portions were generous, larger than expected, but everything we ordered was excellent. The staff were friendly, the tables were spacious enough for a family, and we appreciated the option of both indoor and outdoor seating. We’ll definitely be back.”

The food is exceptional, and the portions are large and for the price, the quantity and the taste are very reasonable!!! Everything is cooked fresh and so for a little wait it was so good !!! “The food here is amazing. I got the monster bear lake burger. It comes with habanero jam and the normal fixings. It was super delicious and I loved all the flavors. My wife got the raspberry cheesecake shake and it was one of the best shakes I have ever had! There were tons of cheesecake pieces in it and it was big for a small.”

“We ordered the family meal, it was impeccable. The ribs are on point and the pulled pork was to die for. My family also really enjoyed the baked beans and street corn. This was definitely a hit for a family dinner. I highly recommend this family owned and operated BBQ restaurant.”

“They have a good double basin cheese burger. Fries were also good but a bit salty. The service was great, they don’t have a place to refill drinks but the girl was nice at the window and refilled it whenever we needed. It can get really busy here. We went in the later afternoon and it wasn’t too bad. It can also be a challenge to find parking, I would park a couple blocks away and then walk.”
