I'm happy to have a new donut shop around. My issue is that every time I get a donut from Banbury Cross, it always tastes like it is stale. I'll eat a donut as much as the next guy and my coworkers are always bringing these in. It doesn't matter how fresh out of store it is, it's always stale tasting and texture. No complaints about the staff, I think this is just a recipe issue
The best donuts for sure! Thank you for coming to Layton because KK down the road doesn't even compare.By the way my late husband loved Banbury Cross in Salt Lake growing up. If he'd have known just a few years later that we would have a Banbury Cross within walking distance from our home! Knowing him and always up at the crack of dawn, we probably would have had donuts in the morning waiting for us on the weekends.So we now enjoy them once in awhile for him.
