“Cubby’s in Lehi is the kind of place that makes you forget you’re a lone coffee drinking heathen in a land where Diet Coke is basically contraband.

Walking in, I felt like the only non-Mormon within a hundred mile radius, clutching my iced coffee like it was a crucifix in vampire country.

The food? Amazing, like someone finally seasoned something in Utah without asking the bishop’s permission.

I ordered a tri-tip steak sandwich and swear I saw a group of elders whispering prayers over their kale salads. One guy looked at my facial hair (mustache) like it was an open rebellion against the Word of Wisdom.

But bless their hearts, Cubby’s welcomed me anyway, with chipotle ranch dressing and a smile, not even passive aggressively laced with conversion attempts.

Honestly, it’s the only place in Utah where I didn’t feel judged for ordering meat on a Sunday. Mahalo“

“My friend and I went last week. We shared our meals. She ordered the fish and chips, but substituted the chips, for sweet potato fries. I ordered the chicken and cheese enchiladas. She thought her fish was the best she had ever had and felt the same about her sweet potato fries. I thought my enchilada was the best I had ever had as well. We have both eaten in many restaurants, in many countries. Our waiter was absolutely great and the food was even better. We drove to Lehi to meet some friends from Indiana and just happened to need to eat supper while we were there. Strap Tank was suggested and oh my the food was amazing! We both decided we would drive back solely for the purpose of eating there again. I would rate the food as perhaps the best in Utah.“

“Great food. Their Apollo's Fire burger is the bomb. Not only do they put jalapeno rings on it, but they also dice some green chiles up and sprinkle liberally. Well worth it. Their fried zucchini was nice and crispy. Just overall a great meal.“

“We happened onto this wonderful restaurant during the Tulip Festival . I was with my 99-year-old father and he was treated like a king. This is a busy time to visit the restaurant… but it is so worth the wait. However it is a fun time to relax and look out over the gardens ! I have returned several times with reservations with many friends ! The manager, Jen , has a way of making you feel personally welcome and she has a skill of hiring people who all enjoy their jobs and make you feel so welcome! The food is so delicious! I especially love the quiche! It is prepared so perfectly you actually feel like you can lose weight while you’re eating it with all of the fresh ingredients they use! I have eaten there several times and have come to know the table busser, Kevin. He Takes pride in his work and folds the napkins and puts the table linens on with impeccable precision! He keeps such a great eye on all of the tables , that you get a refill on your drink before you even know that it is down a drop! I love that you can make a re-reservation! If you haven’t been there I highly urge you to go! You will not regret it! I’m just sad it’s not open all year!“

“Ryann was my server per usual. Her energy is always next level and thats why I always ask to be seated in her section. She is always so attentive to her tables. I wish every restaurant I went to had at least 1 of her. If she ever left I dont know who I would have serve me I would be lost.“

“The food was good and there was okay variety. I had expected a bit more options. My favorites, though were the coconut shrimp with the Hawaiian dipping sauce, the cinnamon pull apart bread, and the salad bar.

I wasn't fond of the layout of the restaurant, but got around okay and we enjoyed our meal.“

The Two Piece Kids Tender Meal is my passion, my business, my love, my life, and the one object that never ceases to bring me the upmost joy. I highly recommend dipping your toast in ranch and refiling your small kids drink three times. Participating in these activities has brought me immense satisfaction and pleasure. “They have great food. Very flavorful burgers and a good size menu. The Rosemary fries are so good and I love that they have fry sauce here. We ordered a peanut butter Oreo shake and it was fine but definitely needed more peanut butter flavor in it. The flavor of the shake was pretty mild. The only reason I’m giving it a 4 star instead of a 5 is I came here because we have a starving student card and smash burger is on there with a buy one get one free deal which is why we came here. We are trying to save money. The employee said they aren’t suppose to be on the starving student card and he wouldn’t honor it. I feel like they need to honor it since they are on there.“
