“Perfect fusion of flavor and family. They have some innovative dishes including short rib tacos, octopus, beef consume and like a dozen different sauces.
The food was phenomenal! I had alambre and birria, both were absolutely packed with flavor. I tried a few sauces but the standout was the pink habanero beet sauce. It looks like something you would put on donut or in a bottle of pepto but the taste is...one-of-a-kind. It still has heat from the peppers but it ends with sweetness instead of the traditional chile flavor. It's a bold blend that somehow works very well.
The owners have clearly been strategic in shopping locations and the layout is just right for a family gathering. They have plenty of tables with lots of space between, even though it was plenty busy, it was never too loud. The color scheme is warm and vibrant without being distracting. They went with a classical Mexican theme but understated and subtle, very classy. It feels more upscale than the neighbors but in a calm and down to earth way.
Overall, this is the perfect place for authentic Mexican cuisine with modern takes. The price was actually shockingly affordable for the level of quality. I mean, slow roasted braised beef loaded with all the fixins seems like it should go for more than $10 these days. I'm glad that it was reasonable which gives me all the more reason to go back soon.
