“I love going here to get tacos. They have fresh and tasteful food. Great selection of sauces etc..The customer service depends on what location you go to and who is cooking. I have been to almost all of them and 2 times I have felt very uncomfortable with a lady who I belive is from Venezuela. She seems to dislike working there, is not nice to people who don't speak Spanish and she won't nor will she make an effort to try an comunicate to customers who don't speak Spanish. The worse is that she ask other customers to translate for her with an attitude. I hope the owners look into that.“
“We hired El Pariente to provide tacos for a large youth activity for our church. Jennie ran the cart all by herself and cranked out 350 tacos for us! The food was delicious, and Jennie was very accommodating to work with. We would hire them again!“
“I’ve lived for the last 22 years in Utah and the Tacos and Catering service from Tacos El Pariente are the best by far . The quality and flavor of the meats are totally different from other taco places, the costumer service are always friendly. This company win 5 starts without any doubt.“
“Best taco cart in the valley. They have been guests at school events I have held for the last ten years. Not only is their food delicious, they believe in giving back. I have attempted to hire them for catering meals for teachers several times. They always came through with the tacos but refused to accept a dime. Finally, after feeling the spirit of one of our events, the owner came back with her cart and family a few weeks later to provide free tacos to all 500 students and staff members. Give them a try. You will not be disappointed. This is a REAL authentic taco cart not a fancy fusion food truck.“
“I tried the asada, and carnitas tacos they're good. Their salsa is very good! Has flavor and spice. I kinda don't like that they mix the onions with cilantro as I only like the cilantro. Service is great. Last month I ordered 20 tacos and she had a line she never got stressed about it. Kept her cool while it was raining. My coworker has the bouche, the alambre, and the cabeza and he loved all of them“
“The food is pretty great for a restaurant when you order your food at a counter. Food came quickly and was delicious. I recommend the beer batter fish taco and the carnitas taco. The chips and salsa were also great. I also got an horchata and it was lovely, but way too overpriced.“
“We were so excited right try this restaurant! It came highly recommended by my son’s boxing team. Right when you walk in, the aesthetics are so nice! As someone who loves tagging and artwork, I was impressed. Their modern design blending in Latinx different aspects of culture was appreciated. The food options are wonderful. There are a lot of choices for tacos in different categories. I chose three tacos from three different categories - the OG asada, kompas king, and mahi-mahi. I also tried theirs chips and guacamole, the esquites, and the pina kolada. Everything was delicious and I can’t wait to come back.If you love quesadillas, ask for Sebastian’s favorite!Staff gave the best recommendations and were so kind! Check this place out soon!“
“The Tacos AL Pastor, Carne asada and birria are to die for. Love love love. Owner is an awesome host and the rest of the staff is awesome. Wanted to try this place forever. What took so long? We are slow, I guess. Cannot recommend this place more highly.“
“Hands down best tacos we've had since moving from California. My whole family agrees as do all of my coworkers. And the owner is the nicest sweetest person you'll ever meet. Very grateful for her and her amazing food! Love the toppings bar too! Such a a great “
“Got the birria tacos on recommendation from a friendThey provided red onions and cilantro to top them with. There was a red and green salsa to add to them as well. Add a roasted jalapeno and some white onions on the side and i gotta say it was a great plate of food. Good value as well for the price. I will definitely be back!“
“There’s some haters in this world. But I guess that means this restaurant is doing somethibg right. No one is happy anymore and everyone is a food critic. With that being said, I haven’t ever been disappointed coming here. I go once or twice a week and the food has always been consistent and the staff has always been helpful. I like the welcoming feeling the restaurant provides. Keep doing what you’re doing.“
“This restaurant was really good , service : our sever was very attentive, food was good, my opinion on the all combination plate ; the red enchiladas mixed with the green sauce was a bit off , we really enjoyed the green sauce ,the red sauce was a little bitter and didn't like how it taste, (this is our opinion ) maybe having a choice of sauce on the combination place?! The birria tacos where very taste ,also the asada fries.“
“I really liked my side salad, ribs and cornbread. My husband also liked the ribs and cornbread but didn't like the baked beans at all. He said they tasted like vinegar. I would have tried the green beans but they were out. The mixed greens salad was really good. I liked the Luke's BBQ sauce.“
“Love this place! The tacos are amazing and the sauces are killer. Super nice staff also. Would recommend!Parking: Not a lot of spots for the multiple businesses here but most of the time parking is not an issue. Will likely be full right at lunch time“
“Delicious chicken tacos! My husband goes out of his way to grab food here, so I had to come and try it for myself. Great service and located next to Maverik where you can grab a soda at a reasonable price, or you can grab a real bottled soda from them directly. Highly recommend this truck!“
“The best thing here are the tostitos. They are SO GOOD.We ordered some Asada Tostitos, some Campechano Tostitos, and some Campechano Tacos. The Tostitos (both kinds) were amazing. I had never had something like that before. Probably because they are more regional, so you only really see them in northern Mexico. So glad I got to try them at this stand though. Unreal. The tacos were good. It’s hard to ruin a street taco. These were solid. Nothing that made me lose my mind. Just solid, good tacos. Also, they guy running the stand was super friendly and easy to talk to. Made me want to return, not just for the good food, but also because he made me feel important.Highly recommend this place.Parking: Old parking lot with plenty of space.Wheelchair accessibility: In a parking lot, so it’s easy to access.“
“The food was so good! I haven't had a traditional Navajo taco in years. It was worth every penny. My grandma loved it so much she said next time I'm in SLC she wants me to pick one up and bring back to her.Parking: There is limited parking behind the building.“
“Great place for our family of 20 to enjoy all different foods of our own preference in a relaxed atmosphere and convenient location. Loved the corn Hole game outside. Thank you for having reservations available so we could get two king tables next to each other accommodating our large group! Would recommend!“
“One of Utah’s hidden gems! Our server was incredibly kind, and our food came out very quickly. The Vegetarian dishes were some of the best in the state, and my boyfriend says the non-vegetarian food was even better. This is a must-visit restaurant for quality, cost-effective, Mexican food.Vegetarian options: Delicious vegetarian options. Clearly thought-out, and NOT just a regular entree with the meat removed.“
“They have the best tacos in the state! Yes, you read that right. The quality of the ingredients and salsas are top-notch! The music playing while enjoying your heaven sent tacos is also great! My dog also got nice delicious beef treat by one of the employees/managers. Attention to detail and great vibes all around! Will come here weekly since the prices are extremely reasonable. If you come here, try their tortilla chips.“
“Taquiza Santana, has serviced our business on 3 separate occasions now. We have a monthly meeting where the business fits the bill for lunch for all employees and this taco truck is one that all my employees specifically request come back. Eddie who is the owner is awesome to deal with, shows up on time, food is absolutely killer delicious and reasonably priced and he pulls up right out back to our bay door and cooks right from there. Nice work per the norm Eddie !!!!! Thank you“
“We've been regulars here, and each visit reaffirms our delight in both the service and the delectable Mexican fast food. The dishes consistently leave both my wife and me content and satisfied, making it a strong recommendation from us.“
“As someone who has traveled all over the US, this is a top tier truck. The food is authentic, delicious and very reasonably priced! If you choose to get a burrito anywhere else you are a fool... Seriously, try them out! Will get lunch here every single day I am in town.“
“Great food! Great service. Tthey don’t speak much English so come prepared to use a little bit of Spanish to help in ordering, which I find to be half of the fun of the experience of ordering authentic food! Thank you Taco Bar! The food is super yummy! And “
“I photographed a wedding and they had Tacos Don Rafa cater and I was so impressed, the food was so so so good, the service was great, the line of people went quickly and they were some of the best tacos that I had had in a long time from a business!“
“since they open this place is always crowd because of the good tacos here, i recommend everythingParking: i haven't counted but is at lest 20 spot , but during the night the other business are done for then day so you can park thereKid-friendliness: ambient is kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: very accessible“
“This spot has the best tacos in all of Utah. I'm from California where you can get hood tacos anywhere. Their meat is super flavorful they never disappoint. No matter what time of the day or week you go . Every good service always friendly with everyone. The quesadillas de al pastor is just wow the best quesadilla I have ever had.“
“Amazing street tacos at a reasonable price. Definitely in my top two taco restaurants. Excellent al pastor and cabeza. They also had a nice little salsa bar with 4-5 different salsas, onions, cilantro, and a few pickled vegetables. Very quick too. If you get a burrito they'll give you a tortilla with your meat, then let you add your toppings, then they roll it up for you. This place is definitely a must-stop if you're on a mission to find the best tacos in SLC (like I am).“
“It's a taco truck, staff is usually friendly, their tacos are good, the steak doesn't have enough flavor, but you can add sauce. Their variety can satisfy the pickiest family, from tacos, burritos, bowls, nachos, sandwiches, sopes, and even hot dogs guys. Go give them a try. If there's something I would request, it is to have at least 1 diet drink.“
“Tried a lot of taco trucks in the slc area recently but none compare to tacos my friend, I had friendly and fast service and the quality of of the tacos were on another level! So tasty, so spicy...so...perfecto.. in every way, will tell all my friends and family about my experience, they also do catering as well!“
“Their Huarache was sooo delicious and their menudo was so good too! If you want legit Mexican food, look no further! They have a simple menu but the two things i picked that day were amazing! my husband had the tacos and loved them too!! Service was fast and friendly, very kind ladies.“
“I hired this truck to feed 100 people for an event and they were fantastic! Communication was great, the tacos were delicious, they were punctual and professional, all at a great price. I appreciated that I didn’t have to pay upfront for them to come and they charged me exactly what was quoted.“
