We shared small plates here as a group of sisters. We had the pork belly lettuce wraps, chicken wings, and burnt ends rice bowl. The food was really great. Interesting flavors. Then we ordered the banana pudding...what a disappointment. It tasted like boxed Jell-O banana pudding with fancy toppings -- very uncharacteristic of the rest of the meal experience which was top notch.
Cole & Bethany are amazing!! Chef & kitchen crew are awesome at what they do!
Awesome ribs and fries! Service was quick and great too. Looking forward to visiting again.

Based on the reviews, 1886 Grill at Homestead is an outdoor venue next to the new pool area. The actual servers are absolutely amazing, and the staff is great, super friendly, responsive, and attentive. However, the restaurant is always understaffed, especially on weekends or live music nights. The food is great and excellent. Recommended meals include the tri tip with corn bread, sliders, pork nachos, goddess salad, BBQ pizza, fries, s'mores pizza with Nutella, loaded nachos, pork sliders, margarita pizza, and onion rings. The cornbread is a winner, the fries rocked, and the cocktails are delicious, especially the peach mojito or mint julep. The food was too good and eaten too fast. However, the kitchen has not mastered fire yet, as some meats were overcooked and dry, the corn was overcooked, the pizza was undercooked, and the coleslaw was flavorless. Prices are reasonable but a little pricey for what you get. The resort is really great, and this spot is worth the stop for those staying at Homestead or golfing.
