“We shared small plates here as a group of sisters. We had the pork belly lettuce wraps, chicken wings, and burnt ends rice bowl. The food was really great. Interesting flavors. Then we ordered the banana pudding...what a disappointment. It tasted like boxed Jell-O banana pudding with fancy toppings -- very uncharacteristic of the rest of the meal experience which was top notch.“

“Best bang for your buck at solitude. We got a large Hawaiian bbq pizza for about $25 to share between three of us adults and it was perfect and really good. It was really cheesy and the flavor was awesome. It’s right by the clock tower in the village, so easily accessible from the bottom lift.“

The food was fantastic too! My wife couldn’t stop raving about their heirloom tomato burrata, I loved my lasagna too! The berry panna cotta was extremely different than other versions I’ve had, it was not bad. But it was not my favorite. And you could tell their cheesecake was homemade!!

We ordered some cannolis to bring him to family who helped watch our kids while we went to dinner. My brother in law, who served a mission in Rome, bit into the first one and exclaimed, “This is amazing!” And then when he ate the second he kept saying “these are soooooo good and fresh.”

“The chili was delicious and hearty. I'm usually skeptical on any chili but my own but this dish was great. They served it with all the fixins and had fritos to top it with. The lodge was not too crowded and we were able to find seating easily, which isn't easy at most vail owned resorts. I will mention that the cashier/bartender tried to serve me a pilsner when I asked for a pale ale or IPA and didn't understand the concept of 12 oz vs 16 of beers. I wouls suggest some beverage/bartender training. But overall great experience on the mountain.“

“From sitting down, I could see some of the challenges at daily's. The children's buffet was good particularly the bolognese and pasta. The fruit was also good.

The pizza chef was on a role and was cranking out all the pizzas. However, the kitchen wasn't as fast as the pizza chef. The hostess was also nice and clearly made an effort to help out.“

“From start to finish, we had a wonderful experience at The Brass Tag. The hostess was ready for us when we arrived and warmly welcomed us before showing us to our table. We brought the six-inch top tier of our wedding cake to enjoy for our first anniversary (mentioned ahead in our reservation), and the restaurant was kind enough to accept it when we arrived and keep it for us until dessert. Our server, Christina, was perfect. She was friendly and helpful, made great recommendations, and checked on us just the right amount without ever making us feel rushed or interrupted. The food was amazing. We had the house-made meatballs, burrata, the special, which was a Greek-style pizza, and the house-made Bolognese pasta. My husband loved his whisky cocktail, a special for the summer. Everything was delicious. Finally, when it was time to celebrate one year of marriage with our wedding cake, the chef himself brought out two slices, beautifully plated. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the end of our anniversary dinner feel especially memorable. Even the practical details were great. We really appreciated the convenient covered parking garage, especially with rain in the forecast that evening. The Brass Tag made our first anniversary dinner feel genuinely special, and it was exactly the kind of evening we hoped to have for the occasion. We'll definitely be back.“
