The Alley is a locals secret. Visitors are welcome of course, but they can't find the place tucked safely away behind town. Friday and Saturday nights Dave will serve you surprisingly good foods and frosty cold local or big name brewskis. You might even get a lame joke or 2 from him. Love the Alley, don't miss the local vibe here if you are visiting.
What a gem. Cool spot. The bartender was nice, funny, and not a jerk....Locals hangout for sure. Wife and i were witnessing a really funny locals interaction at the Bar. We were there late-ish 930pm-11pm. Cheese Curds and pretzel were a great snack. Really awesome decor with a bunch of old puppets and figurines.
I'm a tourist here, but man did they make it feel like the 'home' bar/restaurant I've always wanted! We watched the World Cup match USA v Paraguay, (in Spanish of course) and had an absolute blast. The bartender/server kept us in stiches and was very attentive/friendly. Food was excellent - Friday Fish Fry, chili cheeseburger, both served with tasty fries. Tried a couple of really good drafts at the bartender's recommendation and boy did I want more!...
