“Great food, as always. Service was terrible. Waitress was abrupt, uninformative, rude, practically tossed our food on the table, never asked if we needed anything else/refills, etc. Wasn’t busy—maybe 4 tables she had. Love Mimi’s food; don’t want her as our server ever again.“

“I found Gourmandise while searching for a gluten free bakery in downtown Salt Lake City. To my pleasant surprise, they also serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Although they aren't a dedicated gluten free facility and there is risk of cross contamination, the waitress took the time to confirm that my food choices would not contain gluten, soy, or beef. I had the grilled salmon and it was delicious! The buerre blanc sauce was silky smooth and had just the right blend of flavors. For dessert, there were several gluten free options and I selected the flourless chocolate cake. It was very rich and satisfied my sweet tooth! I'll likely try an additional dessert or two before I leave town. I would definitely eat here again!Dietary restrictions: They have several menus online for dietary restrictions (gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan). I had many gluten free options from which to choose, although some had a high risk of cross contamination due to the fryer. They also have gluten free bread which can be used for sandwiches. The waitress took my allergies seriously and verified ingredients and cooking procedures with the chef to ensure I had a good experience. She also cautioned me about possible cross contamination from my food being in the same oven with glutinous bread. I appreciated her transparency and effort.“

“My fiancé and I love this place so much, we can’t ever not get like 4-6 eclairs they have such a good variety every one we have tried has been amazing! But our favorite by far is the blueberry lavender! It’s just so good! I highly recommend you go here. And the staff is always so nice.“

“Wow. I was so impressed with this place last night. Hannah was exceptional. Whenever a dish was brought out she would follow up a few min later to make sure we were satisfied and doing well. The food is high quality, and the presentation obviously matters to them. It’s so refreshing to go to a vegan establishment that doesn’t have grumpy hipster staff who just think you should be happy about whatever they choose to give you that day.. lol. I’m talking about a competitor around the corner. But If you have standards in your dining experience when you go out to spend your hard earned money, then Seasons hits the mark. You might pay a just a little more here than some of the other Plant Based restaurants around town, but you’ll be happy about spending your money when you see what you get in return. We have been here several times and have received this consistency. We’ll definitely be back.“

La Caille French • $$$
9565 Wasatch Blvd, Sandy - 6.97 miles

“As a wedding photographer and videographer, I absolutely love working at La Caille. This is one of the very best venues in Utah for photography! There are so many great backgrounds and amazing lighting to work with there. The space is large and also secluded so it is nice for events and weddings. Above all, the staff is extremely kind and professional. I especially am a big fan of Emily who is the wedding coordinator there and how personable yet professional she is. If you are looking for a spot for great photos this is your venue!“

“We went in last night for dinner! It was fantastic we have gone in multiple times and have always had a great experience! The food was phenomenal! For appetizers we got crab cakes, baked bree, a salad, and a nightly special, the crab cakes were delicious as well as all the appetizers! For drinks we got Italians sodas and cocktails which were all great, the Italian soda has the most delicious homemade whip cream! For entrees we got a Thai coconut halibut which was amazing, as well as the American Waygu Tomahawk which is one of the best steaks i’ve ever had in my life. Finally for dessert we got a creme brûlée which was super good it was cooked perfectly! The staff was excellent the chef showed us to our table and greeted us, our server was so kind, knowledgeable and friendly! All the other staff that helped us were also extremely kind inviting and friendly! The atmosphere was so cool, the outside of the restaurant was so beautiful and well maintained with seating outside as well! The inside was friendly and inviting. But the inside has been pretty cold every time we have came in so I would recommend wearing something warm. But overall the experience was fantastic, amazing food, staff, and atmosphere! We will absolutely continue coming here as we have in the past, never once had a bad experience!Dietary restrictions: We had someone allergic to fish, we let them know, we were able to order fish for other people at the table without cross contamination! They did a fantastic job at making sure everything was safe to eat with the dietary restrictions.Parking: Plenty of spots!Kid-friendliness: You can have kids with you they must be 12 years or older.“
