Great food, friendly place, really nice people. This is exactly the kind of local business we should all be supporting in our communities, rather than the generic chain places. Please give it a try. We loved the red curry and pad Thai but want to try more stuff on the menu.“

“We thought it was great! I had the Pad Kruh Pao Moo with egg and it was really delicious. Flavor was on point and there were no weird vegetables added for filler. Aside from the Pad Kruh Pao my Thai mother-in-law makes, this is some of the most authentic and tastiest Pad Kruh Pao I’ve had in Utah.

Flavor was just right, spice level was great. Ordered spice level 5 & for me, it was perfect. My only complaint is that the fried egg was way over cooked and was solid vs being runny enough to drizzle over the pork. The serving size was very nice, a very nice amount of pork for a $17 dish.

My bud had the massaman curry and was happy with the flavor and spice.

If we remember to bring an insulated bag, we put food in it, but even without the food is packaged well and still warm by the time we get back to UT county. My sister lives in Montana and asks us to freeze some of the ChaiYo food to bring up to her.“

“This is one of the best Thai places in the area. Its the closet to my work and I've been over a dozen times. I've tried almost as many items. They all have been amazing. My favorites are the Panang Curry, Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles), and Lad Na.

I have even tried their non-Thai dishes and the Pho and Orange Chicken are phenomenal. You wont be disappointed with any of the items. Its my comfort Thai food that if I could I would eat it everyday.“

“sawadee has some of the best Thai/curry in salt lake. I was disappointed when I visited last Saturday. I do not have the opportunity to get to this location often and it usually has to be on a Saturday. I just found out that they are no longer offering the lunch menu on Saturday. The lunch menu is my favorite because I could enjoy two smaller portions of different dishes instead of one larger dish. please bring back your lunch menu on the weekend!“

“Their boba pearls have brown sugar syrup!

I have went to so many boba places in Utah and this is the only one that their boba actually has brown sugar syrup, their boba pearls are also super soft!
They have a lot of games compare to other boba shops and the place seems pretty clean too.
They don’t really have that many boba flavor compared to other places, I will say the boba is super sweet so I do recommend lowering the sugar level, but overall it’s a nice place to stop by if you’re around that area.“

Thai Clam Chowder- totally different spin, more of a broth - pretty sure that there was no cream in it. Interesting Thai spices, but honestly not my favorite. Main dish was seafood Pad Thai - I was a little taken back when it was served. Check out my picture - looks super small, right? The serving size definitely could have been larger. Way to many carrots…. Like half the dish. Also, I have never had a filet of fish plopped on seafood pad Thai. Usually, seafood pad Thai is like - shrimp, clams, scallops. Mussels were a nice touch….. The flavor was great, but the over abundance of carrots and the lack of noodles makes this a below average pad Thai. I am NOT into curry. My dinner guest ordered Massaman Curry and Penang Curry. IF I GO AGAIN, I WOULD GO FOR THOSE DISHES!!!! A++++ curry dishes. Super flavorful and just awesome! All dishes are presented very good and the service was excellent!“

“I ate here last night for the first time. This is one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve been to! I ordered the Drunken Noodles with tofu, Pineapple Fried Rice, and the Coconut Mango sticky rice. All were amazing! On their 1-5 spice range I ordered a level 3 which proved to be just right for me. It definitely packs a nose-running, throat clearing punch. The staff were also very friendly and attentive. Looking forward to my next visit!“
