I was using mine this morning, and relized we have had it for at least 12 years and it's still going strong. Family of seven with heavy use, more than once a day on average, we've used the wide mouth jar almost the whole time. Pretty good for a countertop appliance!
Once upon a time there was a best in class human cooperative firm that manufactured the best blenders the world had ever known. It was called BLEND-TEC (TEC has a numerology of 10 so that the name means Complete Blend in hidden symbology). Great customer service! We had a warped jar and they sent a new jar the next day. Downside is you can’t put it in the dishwasher, hence four stars. And I don’t like the lid on the jar, but I’ve used this pretty much every single day for the past three years and it’s still going strong. Most other blenders simply can’t handle that kind of traffic.
