Based on customer reviews, LoLo Hawaiian BBQ offers authentic Hawaiian flavor with generous portion sizes. The staff is super nice and helpful, treating customers kindly. Popular menu items include Spam Musubi, Katsu chicken, pork, and Hawaiian BBQ chicken. The macaroni salad is so good and the pork is really juicy, not dry. However, there are several inconsistencies noted. The BBQ beef was missing from one plate and the rice was also forgotten, though the staff were very nice about fixing it. The Hawaiian BBQ chicken was described as DRY and CHEWY like it had been sitting around. Extra Katsu sauce containers were half full and the sauce was runny. There was a funny smell when walking in. A customer waited 27 minutes for a musubi, which feels crazy for a 3 ingredient dish, and the employee said this was a typical wait time. Some employees don’t understand English very well, leading to billing errors. Overall, the food and service is still good, but the restaurant needs to step it up and pay more attention to orders.
